I really don’t want to hear any hype about our shit baseball team. I’m still pissed off that a back to back World Series team goes straight to the worst in baseball. The royals need new ownership, and under the current administration they won’t see another World Series for another 30 years. The royals got lucky. I don’t think most of KC gets that. It wasn’t some long term planning and strategy of winning by the organization. It was some good draft picks that highly exceeded their expectations. Once the royals got the spotlight...boom..trades and the team is piecemealed like the farm organization it truly is. The royals do t have a farm team....they ARE the farm team.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been to the K about 50 or so times. I could care less if I ever go back, and many of you feel the same way. At least the chiefs are trying to be different. Just hope that the chiefs don’t develop a mega star in Patrick only to trade him off. I don’t think the chiefs will because that would really piss off the fan base, but then again it is the chiefs and this is Kansas City. Just like the towns politics people get screwed so a few can prosper.

ReplyDeleteJosh Hawley is back home in Washington, so he will do jack-shit, afraid to endanger is chances of getting a Cabinet post or some sort of Commission job so he can resign "his" Senate seat and never have to set foot in Missouri again.
