Police in St. Louis are searching for a gunman who entered a religious supply store, sexually assaulted at least one woman and shot a woman
Quickly the national media says there is no evidence showing the crime was targeting Catholics. That sounds like a responsible and even-handed way to report . Even though there is a long history of discrimination against Catholics in a traditionally Protestant country, we will all hope and pray that the facts will show this was random.Wait until the evidence shows that it was actually targeting Catholics. The Pope and local clergy have not sensationalized the story or tried to drum up outrage over the crime.
