Po-Po Wait Patiently For Stalled Kansas City New Airport Like Everybody Else

There has been little progress on the single-terminal airport but police are looking at drawings and making big plans like all the other denizens who know this deal is going to fall through after the election.

Take a look:

The Kansas City Police Department Is Already Preparing For A New Airport

Kansas City might be four years and $2 billion away from a single terminal at Kansas City International Airport, but that doesn't mean it's too soon to start thinking about how to police it. The Airport Police Division's website lists "several full-time" openings.

  1. Speaking of stalled...how are the folly-trollies doing.?

  2. KCI officers aren’t sworn officers, most cities are protected by highly trained and certified police officers. It is just a matter of time before KCI is patrolled by sworn officers. Some of the KCI security guards will find jobs after the transition, but most won’t. Times are catching up with Kansas City, and it is time that sworn officers actually patrol KCI.
