  1. Of all the futile attempts of local television "news" to make believe they're concerned about and play a role in the community, this "Safe KC" series is pretty much the worst.
And two of the women in the photo are unfortunately good examples of that.
It's amazing that there can be an entire "series" about crime and violence and never once mention that the great majority of it is perpetrated by a small minority of a minority population.
It takes almost surgical precision to avoid even mentioning the real problem in all the time that KSHB spends on this project.
And, once again, the answer that these folks come up with is pretty much ANYTHING other than the real problem.
You really can't even begin to fix something that you don't have the guts to identify.

  2. The whole world has PTSD. Quit trying to make it unusual. I think I have it and I've never been to war. I've been to the east side but I was never shot or injured there. I've been all over the midwest. I've been through floods and fires. The problem is the illegal (and legal) drugs in society. Get these people into drug treatment centers.

  3. Is Jean Peters Baker running for political office in 2020?

  4. how do you create a school system that does not try to make kids sit, sit, sit, sit, and sit in a room all day every day every season except summer. The little school on the prairie wasn't supposed to evolve into the little 500 room prairie lockdown.

  5. why are there 6-7 classes a day everyday every season instead of immersion into 2 or 3.

  6. Why the hell us jean peters getting any camera time when she is part of the problem.

  7. Canady is not the backbone of anything. And what is the deal with the white/latinos/lighter skin african american on one side of the table and the darker skin on the other? Is this intentionally showing the continual division of the city? Good topic, weak execution. Communities are traumatized because they are repeatedly uprooted and taken advantage of by city hall politicians who give priority to white developers. Communities are traumatized because our gangster police department pays off those to create incidents, light fires so that city hall has a "reason' to go in and redevelop a community to provide developer socialism to the rich.

  8. The problem is blacks, they need a cultural overhaul.
