KANSAS CITY HOMELESS FOOD GIVEAWAY CRACKDOWN POSTSCRIPT: CITY HALL HATES LOCALS FEEDING THE NEEDY?!?!

A reminder that we live in a litigious society and the hobo who takes a sandwich could come back with a lawsuit over a debilitating sickness. And so giving drug money at street lights is much more widely endorsed as we debate food sharing and homelessness impacting a growing segment of the local populace.

Here's explanation and posturing . . .

REALITY: THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF CONFLICT AMID THE ONGOING KANSAS CITY HOMELESS CRISIS!!!

Mayor Sly's take on the topic:

"We have received a number of questions regarding the incident involving City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department and Free Hot Soup. While the group’s good intentions are appreciated, any organization distributing food to the public MUST abide by health standards and guidelines that are in place to protect the public from foodborne illness. Those rules do not change whether someone is experiencing homelessness, or attending a charity cook-off. Many organizations in our community abide by these standards, and we thank them for their work."

  1. King sLIE doesn’t want them being fed in his kingdom, if you’re going to feed them you must go outside the downtown loop or sLIE will send his minions out again

  2. Call it a picnic, poetry reading, checkers, board games, choir practice, or whatever. Can't stop "friends" from meeting for fun and having some "picnic" fare at the park. Democrim run city needs to stop goofy gubmint overreach on peaceful people. Killa Shitty's ranked at #5 for murder momentum, but has resources for tax funded personnel trashing free food on a Sunday! FUBAR!

  3. Damn shame the mayor wants the feeding stopped.

  4. Slie will do anything to drive the homeless and hobos out of the entertainment district. Slie does not want the blight in his utopia he does not want the stain on KCMO as it effects the 25 million anally tourists.

Odd that the city only enforces the laws they want to and not other laws.

Maybe Slie can get the city minions to start fixing the failed infrastructure.

  5. Okay, a few facts - first, at least half, more likely four fifths of the people showing up for these handouts are NOT HOMELESS, they are the people who stand on street corners in their "helpless" uniforms who are smart enough to make a very good tax-free living from helping people feel good about themselves!

The true "homeless" among them are homeless by choice, since they refuse to follow the "Rules" at the many shelters available all over the Metro Area! Those onerous "Rules" involve such inhumane acts as requiring them to stay sober in the Shelter, not murdering, assaulting, robbing or raping the other people in the Shelter, and, incredibly, _BATHING_ and changing into clean clothing the Shelter provides (The Horror - can you imagine treating innocent people that way?),

So, these groups who are blaming the "heartless City" for its actions in protecting the Public's health, are only ENABLING the "Homeless" to either grab a free meal after a lucrative day collecting handouts, or helping others avoid seeking out help to improve their lives.

Feel good about yourselves, folks, tat's the only "good" you do!

  6. I will feed whoever I want and if anyone try’s to stop me, they get a beatdown. That includes any cocksucker police or health department faggots.

  7. What a disgrace! We have people in KC who are willing to do good, willing to go out there in the cold and in violent KC streets to feed people and this is how you treat them? That is horrible. The city has shown us they are hostile to the homeless and to our volunteers!

  8. All these do-gooders trying to provide a meal to someone struggling need to just check their priviledge, get back home and watch their programming.

  9. Sly only cares about his own meals. Nobody elses.

  10. 5:34: And you would know this... how?

These days nothing says Kansas City like waste. Whether for a streetcar, subsidized housing for the wealthy and wealthy wannabes, or for ruining food for those who need it.

  12. Just as the comment above indicates, you can have a picnic, family reunion, football party, or whatever. Don't call yourselves anything. Hang a few signs to ensure your friends and extended family without home phones know where and when to meet you, and have your gathering. The city can't do a thing about that, just as they can't stop picnics or tailgate parties. These people are dumb, and now they are donor martyrs.

    1. @6:46 - Absolutely correct. I sense these folks love the drama.

  13. 6:46 just don’t do it in sLIE’s kingdom, he’ll find a way to keep people from having “picnics” in his downtown, we can’t get bums off the street corners without first amendment rights being thrown around, hey, wait a second there! That’s it! Peoples first amendment rights are being violated here! Get the aclu pronto, they’ll fix it! Hahahahaha!

  14. Let people feed people. Simple as that!

  15. I'm in favor of poisoning the homeless.

And negroes. But everybody is in favor of that.

    So what is the issue?

    ReplyDelete
  16. First, @ 5:47, you'd have to get up the stairs from Mommy's Basement, then you'd have to steal thee key to the refrigerator from under her pillow, then you'd have to somehow get the food to somebody before you stuffed every bit of it down your own throat!

Other than those obstacles, Macho Baby, go for it!

Oh, and why do you obsess about other people being "faggots", hunh?

    ReplyDelete
  17. No problem. The people who wanted to feed the bums can just invite some of them into their homes for dinner. That will be outside the health department's jurisdiction.

    1. They don't want them in their neighborhoods, that's why they feed and give them free stuff downtown.

  18. Sorry cold, hungry, homeless people of Kansas City, I'm saving my money for the Hondurans coming up through our southern borders. They deserve our support more than you do. Ask any Democrat. Then ask them how many Honduran families they are bringing home with them to feed and support until they can support themselves without government assistance. The silence will be deafening.

  19. Slie needs to have several dozen meals taken away from him!

  20. Feed people from your homes, don't concentrate them in a park downtown. The area is violent and the homeless are out of control.

You are all idiots. Try going down there some time and tell me how good that is for the city.

  21. interesting. if you need to a food permit to give away food then how does kcpd get around it. with all the additional cios and the community events with food (hotdogs) being served, cooked by one of their own. double standard
