KANSAS CITY HOMELESS CRISIS REACHES HISTORIC LEVELS AS RENTS SPIKE!!!

As the cold approaches, I'm sure we'll get some fake stats about how the number of local hobos on KCMO streets are going down. HOWEVER, people on the ground level report otherwise.

This group is blaming big money rents BUT drug use, rising American desperation, more mental illness and manufacturing jobs slowly trending downward globally might offer even more uncomfortable explanations.

Homeless center seeing 'unreal' uptick in clientele due to raising rent, lack of affordable housing

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One organization that helps the homeless is finding that more and more people can't afford their rent and are becoming newly homeless. Hope Faith Ministries in Kansas City, Missouri, said the margin of error is getting smaller and smaller for many.

  1. Bullshit. Rent is high downtown. There are plenty places on the east side.

  2. ^^^ you mean central core, keep them out of the real eastside please, they should put all of them down town and build a wall around them to keep those people in, it’s the perfect place for them, it would kinda be like the movie escape from New York, murder and mayhem they deserve it

  3. But sLIE said he eliminated the homeless problem, this must be fake news

  4. Housing in Kansas City is way to high for the type of city it is. The roads are bad, the curbing and sidewalks are a mess, the city has a lot of blight, and crime is high.

The only Mayor who did good for the city was Berkeley, but of course Cleaver takes the credit for what Berkeley did.

  5. Affordability used to be one of KCMO's biggest assets.

Now it's come pay high rents and the costs of living that go with it and enjoy roasting or freezing in our lousy weather climate in your luxury 403 Sq Ft apartment. Oh and by the way we got a free streetcar ride and lots of bars and beer joints!

  6. The cleave can only take credit for the jazz district, and we all know what a failure that is, the only thing doing ok down there is the baseball museum, they should get rid of the jazz piece of crap and let the baseball museum take over, The jazz museum is dragging that entire area down and it’s only gonna get worse.

  7. Well what do you expect? Remember voting for charging landlords for required inspections? Cause = Effect.
    No brainer.

  8. I’m sure some dumb ass liberal will eventually gonaround saying the uptick I’m homeless is because of global warming. We need more taxes and more regulation! More government power and less liberty to save us from death by climate change! Russia Russia Russia! All hail Hillary! Metoo! Trans lives matter! Trans lives matter! Gender is over!

  9. Rent is insane. Out here I the burbs I can't believe what rents go for. Houses 2/3 the size of mine go for at least $600 more than my mortgage. Domt thi k this doesn't affect you because it will. When we're old, want to retire and downsize, millenials and after will still be paying off student loans and driving old cars. Big ticket items make the economy go round. In 15, 20 years there is going to be a excess of houses on the market because there is nobody to buy them.

  10. 9:06 needs to add the high water bills, poor trash pickup, and the bio hazard waste downtown.

  11. part of the problem is beyond money, it's the confusing challenges of modern society for some people.

the agencies should do a better job of helping them.
