Kansas governor-elect hopes to thwart adoption law seen as anti-gay
TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansas' new Democratic governor-elect said Thursday that she will look to block enforcement of a new adoption law that she and LGBTQ-rights activists consider discriminatory, a sharp break with the state's two previous conservative Republican governors. Gov.-elect Laura Kelly said she will have her staff review how far the state can go to avoid enforcing the law.
Aren't there bigger issues to work on like crime infrastructure and other things instead of mindless crap like focusing on mentally ill people and their ability to adopt kids they have no business having.
ReplyDeleteSo its ok for the States chief law enforcement officer to decide which laws to enforce? Republicans should remember that in the future
ReplyDeleteKansas is headed down the shitter again.
ReplyDeleteBut how are they going to get new queers if they cannot train young uns.

ReplyDeleteThe old witch is really taking on the big problems, isn't she?
ReplyDeleteQueers and trannies are the first thing on 98% of Kansan's minds.
Here she goes, down the liberal Democrats' wish list. Next up: public financing of gender reassignment surgery. I hope the Republican legislature has the sand necessary to tell her no, never, not here.
ReplyDelete^^^I hope you go into the light soon.
ReplyDeleteShe is going to make sure she is a one term and gone governor if she keeps this crap up.
ReplyDeleteWhat should concern everyone is that her objective isn't to move the legislature to change the law, it's her intention to find a way to blatantly ignore it no matter the will of the legislature nor the people who elected them.
ReplyDeleteBitch is unfit for office, period.
Send her to san fransico
ReplyDeleteThank you to the parents of the teens that ran for governor in the primary. It is clearly their fault for encouraging such stupidity. That cost Colyer the primary votes he needed. Now we have this mess to deal with.
ReplyDelete12:06 - Are you aware of a term called multi-tasking. It's where you work on several different items at once.
ReplyDeleteFuck, this should be a no brainer for all you pro-life turds. Get kids a home and out of foster care. Or, are you just pro-birth? Never a shortage of assholes who will bitch about a kid getting a home because it doesn't fit their 1950's narrative.
^^^ If this was the 1950's your dad would take a belt to your ass which is exactly what you need.
