FINISHED: HERE'S WHY KRIS KOBACH HAS NO FUTURE IN KANSAS POLITICS!!!

He had paramount support from President Trump, the Kansas electorate has been an overwhelmingly Republican for the more than a generation, and his national media profile totally eclipsed that of his opponents -- Nevertheless, Kris Kobach managed to lose what would should have been an easy victory by way of his repellent personality and inept political strategy.

The morning after a mammoth public embarrassment from which he'll never recover, one thing is clear . . .

THE KANSAS POLITICAL CAREER OF KRIS KOBACH IS KAPUT!!!

There are a lot of reasons for this fact of life but this one is most important . . .

The toy gun parade stunt demonstrated that SecState Kobach is far too immature to hold any important public office.

The divisive ploy proved that Mr. Kobach doesn't understand anything but his own extremist ideology and that his smallish clique of supporters are equally tone deaf and myopic.

There is debate about a blue wave vs. red after the midterm but from a more practical perspective, objective observers should realize this: Kris Kobach handed State Sen. Laura "Grandma" Kelly her victory when all he need to do is play it cool and count on demographics to do his work.

And throughout his career Mr. Kobach has always been too smart for his own good.

National media proved that he really isn't much of a lawyer.

An immigration debate earned him opposition from throughout the nation and tagged him as a racist.

And his statements on education and infrastructure offered voters a glimpse of a politico with a nearly childish understanding of how state government really works.

In the final analysis . . .

Kris Kobach proves to be so incompetent and out of touch that the only place for him now is Washington D.C. and a high ranking Trump Administration job.

And so the sun sets on the career of Kris Kobach in Kansas as he is confronted with a decision: Stay in Kansas and resign himself to a dead end career of nasty talk shows or move onward to more fertile ground for divisive rhetoric that makes for great talk show chatter but is ultimately unworthy of holding elected office.

    2. Great talk show guest, horrible politician. I don't agree with some of the comments about his stances but do think that D.C. is the best place for him. He can go much further and make more of an impact there.

  2. He should move to KCMO and clean up this town!

    1. Actually, not a bad idea. Just like most of the candidates for mayor. He really doesn't need to live here.

  3. Wouldn't be shocked if he ends up in Trump's admin somehow. Whatever he does, he was a wealthy kid, is wealthy now, and will stay wealthy doing something.

Your next US Attorney General after Sessions is fired or expresses an interest in pursuing other interests.

Blue Wave was more like passing a kidney stone. A lot of pain but such relief after.

Trump endorses Pelsosi for Speaker of the House. Brilliant!

  5. Yup, Attorney General - as soon as he completes the mandatory court-ordered "Remedial Law 101" course!

  12. Newsflash!
AG Jeff Sessions just submitted his resignation WED afternoon.

Kobach won't be named to the AG spot, but will get a position in the Trump administration if he wants it. He may not want to uproot his family from Kansas.

If he does accept a spot in D.C., and distinguishes himself with loyal service through Trump's 2nd term, that would set him up nicely to continue with VP Pence in 2024.

  13. 1:37 and 3:29, I would bet bigly that Kobach would do much better on a general law exam (or an IQ test!) than SJW Judge Robinson, who made that scurrilous comment.

  14. Virginia's 3rd Senator, Pat Roberts, will be 84 in 2020.

He'll be too old to leave his Fairfax home regularly for travel back to his Airbnb in Kansas and campaign.

KKKobach's message of walls and immigration crackdowns play better in the Swamp of DC. Look for him to run for Robert's senate seat if he isn't Trump's AG.

  15. Kobach is not the reason Kelly won. She won because the ignorant parents of six teens that ran for governor took the needed votes away from Colyer in the primary, which gave Kobach that win. Had Colyer won he would have won yesterday too.
Stupid people raise stupid kids and this is proof.

  16. ^^^ Six teenagers didn't take votes from Colyer to let Kobach win, Ronnie Metzler did!

That deal stank in Ice! And yes, Colyer would have won, easily.

  17. Wow! States have three senators now?

  18. @3:29 I'd wear a contempt citation from that whore Robinson like a badge of honor.

  19. @7:52, you'd wear a pair of her dirty panties as a "badge of honor" too, but we all knew you were "one of those".

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yep 7:50. Virginia has 3 and Kansas only has 1. Roberts moved out 10 years ago. Go look at his 2014 campaign where he rented a room from a donor for his "home" address.

Milton Wolf brought it up in the primary.

It's snark based on truth. Try to keep up.
    ------

Senate records show Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., spent less than 100 days in his home state using official funds over the course of two years, an issue analysts say could inflame voters as he seeks re-election.

Roberts spent official funds to travel to Kansas 26 times over the course of two years, spending a total of 97 days in the state between July 2011 and August 2013, according to Senate spending records.

Roberts' connection to Kansas has been a flashpoint in his bid for re-election after The New York Times reported this year that he rents a room from supporters in Kansas rather than staying in a home he owns.

Last week, the state Objections Board ruled Roberts is a legal resident of Kansas, rejecting a complaint by GOP primary challenger Milton Wolf that alleged the senator lives in Alexandria, Va.
