Celebrate Midtown Kansas City Single-Family Housing Building Boom

Maybe nice news and certainly a welcomed break from the condo influx that currently saturates this market. Take a look:

Saint Luke's Foundation Announces Plan to Revitalize Plaza Westport Neighborhood with Thirty New Single Family Homes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Saint Luke's Foundation announced today plans to begin construction on thirty new single family homes designed to enhance and revitalize the neighborhood that sits just west of Saint Luke's Hospital and south of Saint Luke's Bishop Spencer Place between 44th and 45th Streets.

Why the hell isn't St. Luke's working to lower patient costs instead of playing real estate tycoon?

^^^^^^

I agree. This is probably for doctors, employees, students, and extended stay families. The problem is, that area is not a place to stay regardless of houses fixed up or not.

Screw the idea and lower our cost!

St Luke’s is trying to keep the filthy blacks from invading any further into the plaza, somebody has to keep them and away from the hospital or people will quit going there, I agree with it, gotta keep them kind out

Starting at $500K for the cheap ones? Gosh how much more affordable can you wish for!

Golly those are in my price range.

They want to displace and keep out people who say, gosh, golly, yip, yup, and yo out of that area. And those kind that leave a recycle bin on the porch, or have some goofy art in the yard.

Nice they gave everyone so much ample and advance notice about seriously major changes coming to the neighborhood.

Oh thought this was something about helping people instead of welfare for the rich.
