Urban Summit Against Councilman Reed???

Kansas City urban core posturing amid the ongoing debate for more City Hall cash . . . Here's a somewhat worthwhile account of the dispute:

Jermaine Reed left East Side leaders out of 18th & Vine plan | The Kansas City Star

"Am I at home here?" Kansas City Councilman Jermaine Reed asked his constituents at Friday's regular Urban Summit breakfast. Oh yes, they told him. But home is where along with your favorite meal, you might get served the news that your hair looked better the other way, or any number of other truth bombs you're not really longing to be let in on.

  1. Give Jermaine a break.
This latest shakedown is going to yield ONLY $10 million and he just ran out of promised cash before he got to this group of super grifters.
He'll be back to city hall for another few million, so just wait your turn.
The clowns at 12th and Oak never so no in an election year.
    It never changes.

  2. Kansas City can’t survive another corrupt incompetent black mayor.

  3. If white people in KC actually got to know black people, they'd realize Sly nor Reed speak for no black people in KC.

  4. Reed needs to go ahead and throw whatever limited support he has to Lucas. It is his only chance at continued relevance.
