TKC SATURDAY SECOND LOOK!!! SHARICE DAVIDS COFFEE COMPANY TROUBLE IS PART OF ENTREPRENEURIAL BIZ RISK!!!
So much concern regarding the upcoming Midterms in Kansas involves the economy and the future of economic development in the Sunflower State.
Accordingly . . .
SPECIAL THANKS TO THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST OF TKC READERS WHO MAKE AN ESSENTIAL POINT REGARDING RECENTLY REVEALED SHARICE DAVIDS BIZ TROUBLE!!!
As GOP hardliners gloat over the financial FAIL of the Congressional contender's coffee FAIL our blog community talks about the high risk nature of local biz life.
Here's the word:
About Sharice Davids And The "Failure" Of Her Coffee Company
"The story is a big nothingburger. Entrepreneurs are supposedly the engine of the economy. Sometimes those efforts fail, not because the person is a bad person, a bad business person, etc.
"If the lender didn't ask for a personal guaranty for the loan, that is the lender's problem."
You decide . . .
True. Not everybody gets bailouts for failure. You have to be a big bank to qualify for those.
ReplyDeleteBusinesses FAIL. Look at how many companies have gone back and forth under brownback.
ReplyDeleteSharice shouldn’t have to pay the loan back. The lender did not ask for a guarantee, so she shouldn’t have to pay her debt.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth warren owes sharice davids an April oft for exploiting native Americans for her own personal gain.
ReplyDeleteI’m not voting for sharice but she is kinda cute.
Kinda cute? Maybe if you’ve been in Leavenworth for 20 years. Otherwise, yuck.
DeleteJust because she signed a document promising to repay the loan doesn’t mean anything. She should not be expected to keep her word.
ReplyDeleteShe should have to pay the money back and should have by now. LLC's are a racket that lets people borrow money then think they can walk away from it when it all fails. Trying pulling that stunt on your car or house loan.
ReplyDeleteBut I myself think all who seek office should not have any outstanding collections such as this or back taxes owed if running for office. How do you trust someone who thinks they are above paying their own bills.
Her track record is very clear in that she has never tried to create a career for herself but has leaped frogged from one adventure to the next looking for that cash cow that to be honest nobody outside of the democratic party has been willing to hand her.
Like the US government ever kept their word on treaties with the Lickahoe tribe.
ReplyDeleteDavids is a ghost. She is registered to vote in South Dakota, is not licensed to practice law in Kansas has skipped 5 debates and may not even live in the state. Her only known address is an office on 5th St in KCK. She has no legislative experience and her only claim to office is that she is a lesbian Indian woman. What could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeleteExcellent points. Anytime I see one of her lawn signs I wonder how daft the inhabitants of said house must be.
DeleteI was thinking maybe she could run for mayor in Kansas City as well. Then let her decide which job to take. Could she do both?
ReplyDeleteIs there anything about this dumb cunt that is legit?
ReplyDelete^^^^Good Point
ReplyDelete12:26 comment NAILS IT! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSharice Davids is an itinerant opportunist.
Went to multiple undergraduate schools, ended up at Cornell Law courtesy of affirmative action for lesbian Native American females. Wasn't a very good student, so she had limited real opportunities after graduation. Worked for a firm that had a small Native American business practice. Got a White House fellowship in the Obama Administration (Transportation Dept.) because Obama was very gay-friendly, promoting gays in all departments.
Davids has actually accomplished very little, and this is a theme common to many KCMO area liberal Democrats. Examples: 1) Jolie Justus constantly promotes her lesbianism as a political weapon to ward off legitimate criticism of her incompetence. She was given a job at a law firm doing pro bono work. The firm makes NO money off pro bono work. It's a public relations position. 2) Quinton Lucas, like Davids, also went to Cornell Law via affirmative action. He was given a teaching position at KU as part of their fabricated diversity/inclusion initiative to put more color into their faculty photos. Again, it's a public relations thing.
If Kansans are crazy enough to elect Davids, they'll be the laughingstock of the Midwest.
ReplyDeleteSquaw need business to sell firewater to red brothers.
Maybe she not fuck it up.
Davids and Cleaver have a lot in common. They both failed at running a business yet they'll be voting on economic issues that can hurt our personal finances.
ReplyDelete^^^ Don't forget Trump.
ReplyDeleteNever trust an Indian.
ReplyDeleteOh dear - almost 20 grand? So, 1:00 - laughingstock? They already are...they elected Brownback twice.
ReplyDeleteRead some really good comments on here I hope voters do their homework before voting. She's bad news.
ReplyDelete12:22 & 12:23: Oh, please! Trump has made not repaying loans and screwing vendors an art form. If you all want to get on your high horses, at least be consistent.
ReplyDeleteI hear Shrice also has membership in the Chickensquaw tribe, like dual citizenship. They are known for avoiding debates and avoiding responsibility.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet the $20,000 write off is almost nothing to the lender as they took it off of their taxes. The problem as I see it is it directly speaks to Sharice Davids character and that speaks volumes about her. It is only $20000 now but what is it going to be if she is elected? Now you're talking about her dealing in the big bucks and I don't mean male deer.
ReplyDeleteI see an Indian Chief somewhere shedding a tear.
@ 3:12 - Thank you for the good advice.
ReplyDelete3:19, STFU Byron
ReplyDelete3:37: 3:19 here--I'm not Byron. Do you think he's the only person in the country who sees the inconsistency here?
ReplyDeleteok, but please say what her accomplishments are......?
ReplyDeleteI have been a small business lender, and no lender I know lends money to small businesses without the owner's personal guarantee. No personal guarantee, no loan. I would suspect that the lender in this case anticipated that even though they could enforce the guarantee, they would not be able to collect their contract. Sharice didn't have assets. This is just speculation, but I have been in the business for too long to think that this young woman could get a business loan without her personal guarantee.
ReplyDelete4:05 is Byron's boyfriend which is just as bad.
ReplyDeleteFire water Sally
ReplyDeleteJust do the right thing and vote Yoder even though he has his own issues. We need all the backing for Trump we can get. If Dems were to get the house they would just waste their time trying to impeach 24-7 and get nothing done for the people.
ReplyDeleteYoder needs to come out of the closet to get the lgbt vote. The injun says he is in heap big trouble!
ReplyDeleteI think her voter base is held up at the Mexican border.
ReplyDelete5:12: NWOR
ReplyDeleteDavids is going to end Yoders cash grab. I would not be surprised that The Orange Buffoon comes to Kansas to support Davids. Since the Orange Turd is the master of not paying back loans and he certainly know how to file bankruptcy.
ReplyDeleteSlobbering Dave seem to have gotten lockjaw with his lame dribble trashing The Orange Clown. You need to change your Depends Slobbering Dave, you old pervert.

ReplyDelete4:45: Completely agree. The fact that she obtained a $20k business loan without a personal guarantee raises a lot of questions. Was this a "warm and fuzy" kind of loan to promote small businesses on reservations? New Vision Fund doesn't seem like that kind of lender though. They specialize in technology-type venture capital funding. Probably even more questions about her residential history over the past 5 years. I don't doubt that she grew up in the district but a lot changes in 5 years. How much does she really understand the issues/people of the 2nd district?
ReplyDeleteGD 8:17, go read what you wrote ya slobbering mental midget. Grow the fuck up and stay on topic if that's even possible with the IQ you have to be in possession of.
ReplyDeleteAre people in the 3rd District of Kansas really all that different from many other districts?
ReplyDelete4:45 and 9:04, the loan to Davids was more of a philanthropic contribution than an investment. The parent organization, CEMA, is a valid investment firm. However, it was their charitable arm, New Ventures, that made the loan. New Ventures likely did not ask for a personal guarantee because it was more charity than business. See:

No to davids.....killing babies isn't right..abortion isn't health care..
ReplyDeletein the burbs 20k wouldn't be enough for the shitters!
ReplyDelete9:37 Then why did they pursue a judgment against the company? My experience with charitable loans is they don't end with a court case if the debtor defaults. Maybe there is a reason - just a question.
ReplyDeleteStill curious what her residential history has been over the past 5 years. Does she really know how her voters feel about the issues? Do voters really know where she stands on the issues? Based on the commercials and stories I'm reading - her sole role is to be "anti-Trump" in a district that voted for Hillary. Yoder is not Trump. Yoder has a Bob Dole Republican with a long track record of supporting Kansans. Kansas is much more Bob Dole than Chuck Schumer.
