This should be the real call to unity for the midterms. The better angels of KC is correct. I think people have also had a hard time criticizing President Trump on this as well. Actually, he has shown tremendous leadership in a time of crisis.

Interesting. I don’t recall a gathering of thousands of people or speakers from the NAACP mourning the death of the Indian Creek Murder victims. I don’t recall such a gathering or speakers from the NAACP for Jonathan Porter. Neither have I seen anyone as such a gathering for the hundreds of the black on black homicides. No, it just seems to make more sense to blame Republicans and Trump supporters. That is how the liberal mind works.

In Kansas City Missouri, NO crowd gathered Monday night to honor and remember the 100+ KC homicide victims who've been slain so far in 2018. Most of these victims were people of color.
According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau data, approximately 13.4 percent of Americans are Black/African American. In KCMO, 29.9 percent of residents are Black/African American.
Most African Americans lineage can be traced to the slave trade in which humans were captured, enslaved, and sold for physical labor. For every 100 slaves who reached the New World, another 40 had died in Africa or during the Middle Passage across the Atlantic.
