Kansas City police responded to a shooting call approximately 6:15 p.m. Wednesday near 36th Street and Brooklyn Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim told the officers that he was delivering pizza when two suspects attempted to rob him, at which time he was shot.
