Deets:
"Police were called about 1:30 p.m. to the 6900 block of East 114th Street on a reported shooting. Authorities said the woman was taken to a hospital, but died a short time later."

Kansas City Police Dispatch report . . . Just north of Longview Rd., around 1:45 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found several people tending to a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Again, this is the 109th shooting so far this year compared to 116 at this time last year.
