How To Make An Informed Decision When Voting For Judges In Missouri And Kansas
When voters head to the polls on Nov. 6, they'll encounter a slew of down-ballot names they've likely never heard of: judges standing for retention. In Kansas, 101 judges are on the ballot statewide; in Missouri, 58. Are these retention votes really important?
I for one have a difficult time voting to keep any man who wears an ugly Black Dress to work in office.

ReplyDeleteThe article fails to inform how to make an informed decision to vote for or against any of the judges. Give us facts. Which judges are most likely to give probation to violent criminals? Then we'll know how to vote.
ReplyDeleteThe reason most lawyers support judges are 1) They don't want a cranky judge should they get a case in front of him and 2) If a judge drops back to being a lawyer it damages the sterling reputation of other lawyers. (Sarcasm)
