DISGRACE!!! KANSAS CITY STAR DEMANDS HOMICIDE 'OUTRAGE' BUT COMMUNITY COOPERATION WITH POLICE ACTUALLY HELPS REDUCE MURDER COUNT!!!
It's important not to pay so much attention to the scumbags at the newspaper but one of their insipid unsigned editorials seems exceptionally dangerous and irresponsible.
The headline:
12 KC public schools students have been killed or shot this year. Where’s the outrage?
The premise . . .
"In Kansas City, the violent deaths of teenagers are now met with a quiet resignation. But imagine that 12 Shawnee Mission School District students had been shot this year. What would the reaction be if this had happened in Overland Park or Blue Springs or Lee’s Summit?"
This is race bait, it's clickbait and it's a glimpse at desperate white guilt inspiring headlines WITHOUT A REAL PLAN for anything but sensationalism.
The quickie column is also willfully ignorant. In fact, THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE OUTRAGED AND ACTIVE in attempting to prevent more murder in the community. Sadly, the newspaper only keeps up with taxpayer subsidized political welfare activists whilst far more popular and prolific leaders like Alonzo Washington are kept out of view.
Like it or not, Mr. Washington's call for community cooperation with police based on trading TIPS and disregarding political niceties has met with MASSIVE support from his legion of Facebook fans who are far more active than newspaper readers.
Fact, is, there's plenty to be mad about when it comes to murder in Kansas City but that anger is more of an uncomfortable fact of life than something that can be solved with mean tweets.

MAYBE WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED THAT THE MURDER OF YOUNG CONSTRUCTION WORKER JOHNATHON PORTER HAS BEEN MET WITH NOTHING BUT SILENCE!!!

"Johnathon Porter was shot and killed on site at Ninth Street and Brooklyn Avenue. He was working for InfraSource on a gas line replacement for Spire Energy. Police believe the gunman walked up to him, asked for a cigarette, and when he didn't get one, shot Porter several times in the chest."
Getting killed for a pack of smokes should inspire people to speak up but so far . . . Nothing.

Mobile phone beef inspired a deadly stabbing should not only serve as a warning that local conflict resolution skills are lacking among the NEXTGEN but also that THIS DEBATE IS NOT ABOUT GUNS BUT ABOUT THE GROWING LACK OF RESPECT FOR LIFE.
And so . . . The silly culture war juxtaposition of the dead-tree media which attempts to turn the issue into call to whine on social media is mostly just a testament to their ineptitude as newspapers fade away.
Meanwhile, there is a real conversation to be had about the homicide rate in Kansas City but it's not happening in the newspaper.

TKC, you're not looking closely enough. The call to "outrage" is really just to a call to vote. You're right, they don't care about what's going on locally, just looking to drum up business for the progressives. The people who get killed in the meantime. They're on their own. just like always.

DeleteI'm tired of activist journalists trying to get a lot of shares, I'm outraged that there isn't more real journalism in the paper. And why don't they mention Jolie Justus and her lack of any anti-crime success?

DeleteThe KC Star has had the power to make forty kinds of hell go across the pages of their papers in outrage over all the killing. But no so far all they have done is kiss the ass of everyone important at 12th and Oak and avoided attacking in print who they should be attacking. HA HA, just imagine if I was doing the editorials down there?

Spend a day walking the halls of schools in KC and you will quickly understand why violence has become second nature to our teens.

ReplyDeleteI knew a potential teacher from UMKC who was all fired up to teach kids. 3rd or 4th grade I believe. At the end of her degree, she went to do the student teaching. Her UMKC advisor or whatever placement program they use, put her at a high percentage black school Somewhere North of the loop. She finished that semester, came back to UMKC and promptly dropped out. Her experience there was the worst she'd ever come across. She's lily white and naive as they come. That is why all we get are garbage teachers for garbage kids. Its a downhill slide and the only way to change it, without the political will to do something, starts at home.

ReplyDeleteOf course people would freak out if that many white kids were killed. You know what else would happen? Calls from tipsters would flood in. Parents, as in two, plural, parents would ask there kids if they knew anything and if they did, it will damn well be reported. Black people simply don't care. As for the black-on-white hate crimes of Jonathan Porter and Jeffery McDonald I'm glad to see the reward has been increased in one of those. Nothing should be of higher priority.

ReplyDeleteWho cares? In Israel, niggers are treated like the vile cockroaches that they are. Niggers in Israel are locked up in concentration camps, forcibly sterilized, and then shipped off to White nations like Sweden and Australia. That’s because Israel knows very well how destructive niggers are, and they know how niggers destroy cities and eventually nations. If you ask me, Israel isn’t nearly harsh enough on niggers. Niggers shouldn’t just be sterilized and deported. Niggers should be exterminated altogether. Every single worthless nigger needs to be rounded up into cattle cars, shipped off to gas chambers, and slaughtered like cattle. The only possible use for niggers would be to conduct medical experiments on them. We can’t experiment on humans because our ethics prevent us from conducting experiments that cause significant pain. But, since niggers aren’t human, we can cause as much pain as we want. We can cut open pregnant niggers, we can chop up nigger babies, we can inject nigger children with all sorts of unstable chemicals — hell, we can do whatever we want to these subhuman beasts. And, by conducting medical experiments on niggers, we can obtain medical knowledge that will ultimately be useful in providing medical assistance for humans. Not only that, but it would also be a lot of fun to do. Could there be anything more satisfying than the helpless screams of a nigger child as it’s torn apart by human doctors? I certainly can’t imagine anything more enjoyable. If Europe had any sense, it would be slaughtering niggers en masse, keeping only a few alive to conduct medical experiments on (and then killing those niggers once they’re no longer useful).
