Trade Deal Puts Kansas City Southern Railroad on a Better Track

With or without a "big, beautiful wall" between the U.S. and Mexico, trains pulling cars full of corn, plastic, and auto parts will still rumble south of the border and return full of cars and electronics. One company that controls the tracks, Kansas City Southern, is bound to profit from all of that activity, and its stock should benefit.

  2. How much are we going to have to pay for the Wall that Canada is building all the way across our northern border?

  3. ....Remember, NAFTA was one of the WORST Trade Deals ever made. The U.S. lost thousands of businesses and millions of jobs. We were far better off before NAFTA - should never have been signed.

  5. What deal? There is no deal.

Southern's stock was down and lagged industry peers for the last 2 years because of Trump's rhetoric about ending Nafta and building a wall.

Now that it's becoming clear there will be no wall and there will be no real changes to Nafta, the stock is recovering. They are only now catching up to values they should have had in 2016.

Classic Trump. He tries to breaks something, then claim he fixed what he was complaining about. Another con.
