TKC BREAKING NEWS MUST SEE!!! CONGRESSMAN YODER SEYZ SHARICE DAVIDS SINGLE-PAYER SUPPORT IS SOCIALIST NIGHTMARE!!!
The latest advert from the Rep. Yoder camp calls out Sharice Davids on the future of American healthcare.
"The ad highlights Sharice Davids' support for HR 676, the single payer health care legislation advanced by Congressional Democrats, and the affects the bill would have on our American health care system if Davids were successful in implementing it."
To be fair, what we know about the position of Ms. Davids is that she has equivocated on the topic.
Roll Call reported that "Davids said she would vote for a single-payer system if elected, but thinks that’s a few election cycles away."
Reality, like every other Western nation, socialized healthcare is ALREADY largely in place but with outrageous corporate subsidies for insurance and healthcare corporations . . .
Unfortunately, the broken system is so byzantine and scary that most Americans justifiably don't think anybody is in charge.
And so, here's the latest TV salvo:
You decide . . .
ReplyDeletePlease Kansas Don't vote for this women, she's crazy, and think about socialized health care and look at Canada and the UK before you vote for her.
don't vote socialist!
ReplyDeletereasonable regulation, yes, but not socialism. it doesn't work and it destroys freedom.
yoder ain't perfect but he's reasonable and pretty responsive.
What if she gets the same number of votes in the final election as she did in the primary?
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to see rinos and independents being won over by her radical and basically unhoned policies.
Yoder is a mighty fine skinny dipper.
ReplyDeleteDon’t vote for Sharice Davids. She really is crazy.
ReplyDelete^^^don't tell me who to vote for. Now I'm voting for her out of spite!
ReplyDeleteAll her do goody do do bullshit
ReplyDeleteSingle payer would be a disaster. Think of all of the people in the insurance industry that would be out of a job. The government would decide if you really really really need to see a doctor, who you will be able to keep, except that doctors would just quit being doctors for the amount of money they would make and the debt they would owe for med school.
ReplyDeleteThis woman and many other inexperienced democrat candidates are all socialists and would cause the stock market to crash and lose millions of people tons of money and not just the "rich".
^^Thanks, please post your economics degree please. OH, you don't have one? You mean you just made that shit up about the markets crashing and millions of people losing money because you think that's what would happen? Go away moron. I wouldn't trust you to tell me the weather outside, let alone economics. Fucking tool!
ReplyDeleteYoder is a Communists wet dream come true.
ReplyDeleteMessage from the GOP: BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!
ReplyDeleteIf Americans are not careful, they might end up with universal health care -- just like Canada and nearly every other modern Western state. It would "end Medicare as we know it" by extending it to everyone. It would end job-related insurance by REPLACING it -- so NO ONE would "lose" their insurance. Any increase in taxes would be less then we are paying now for extortionate private insurance and pharmaceuticals.
Just how desperate is Yoder? How dumb does he think voters are? Oh, yeah. He did get re-elected after he went drunken skinny-dipping in the Sea of Galilee.
12:08, 12:39 & 2:39 are all the same little commie pinko jagoff. He wouldn't know commonsense if it hit him in his big fat mouth. The fact of the matter is that I am 1:44 and I have my college degree and did work for a large multi-national company doing economics related projects for 32 years in several locations in the country. So what is your experience in these matters other than you are too scared to come out of your mommy's basement and are scared of the boogie man. Grow up and get a job and until then you need to STFU.
ReplyDeleteIf this country would stop sending money to the hole called the Afghan War, fighting proxy wars in Syria, Iraq, Somalia, and numerous other locations and giving Isreal money we could have an affordable single payer health system. McGovern said it and it's true today "Come home America".
ReplyDeleteOh no, death panels and rationing!
ReplyDeleteAgain?
Uh, I thought the government take over of health care already happened.
If socialized Medicare is good enough for seniors, it's good enough for all of us.
ReplyDeleteSeniors love their socialized medicine. They would die without it.
Yoder once again has to attack with scary threats because he only has failures on his resume.
ReplyDeleteHe voted to kick tens of millions off insurance plans. He voted to eliminate protections for pre-existing conditions. He voted to destabilize the insurance markets which jacked up premiums the last several years for everyone.
His "plan" is health care only for the privileged. It would be a luxury only his donors could afford, which are the only people Yoder represents. Big money lobbyists.
3:03, would "Medicare for all" cover everyone for everything with little waiting time (unlike the Canadian system!)? If so, how much would it cost*, and where will the money come from? If not, who and what will not be covered, and how long will it take to be treated? Give us provable, detailed answers to these questions before we decide.
ReplyDelete*An academic study reported by Bloomberg said it would cost $32.6 Trillion in 10 years. Do you dispute that? How and why? (Vermont had then abandoned universal care, due to the huge new taxes it would take to keep it going. The cost of such care in California alone has been estimated to cost $400 billion per year.)
"Single payer would be a disaster. Think of all of the people in the insurance industry that would be out of a job. The government would decide if you really really really need to see a doctor, who you will be able to keep, except that doctors would just quit being doctors for the amount of money they would make and the debt they would owe for med school.
ReplyDeleteThis woman and many other inexperienced democrat candidates are all socialists and would cause the stock market to crash and lose millions of people tons of money and not just the 'rich.'"
You're so right. That's just how my Medicare worked. Except I was able to keep my doctor and never have trouble seeing him when I need to, as determined by me.
The hell with health care. Let's have another few simultaneous pointless wars and a bunch of tax cuts for the rich instead. Maybe we'll even throw in a few temporary tax cut crumbs for the 99% while we're at it.
ReplyDeleteYes 1:44, lets keep trillions of health care dollars flowing to Wall Street and insurance companies for non-health care jobs and services. Most of those jobs are actually designed to deny health care.
ReplyDeleteLayers of corporate bureaucracy that aren't directly in health care aren't entitled to a job. Those are the easiest to cut. This is exactly why we are overpaying now. Get rid of them and the costs will come way down.
Yeah, like the US doesn't have long wait times for doctors.
ReplyDeleteIf 4:17 had health insurance, he would realize you have to schedule doctor appointments months in advance here.
Long waiting periods for health care in Canada is fake news folks. Fake news.
4:17 here. I have health insurance, and what you say is a lie.
ReplyDelete^^^ Yeah right. BTW, better call your proctologist about your butt hurt now.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry when they tell you it will take at least 8 weeks to get an appointment.
Your condition won't become acute until the first Tuesday of November.
