Cartoonist says drawing of Serena Williams isn't racist, calls world 'crazy'
An Australian cartoonist is facing backlash after he penned an image of Serena Williams at the U.S. Open as an angry baby. Mark Knight drew an exaggerated Williams with a big nose and lips jumping on a broken racket, with a baby pacifier nearby, following the incident Saturday at the U.S.
Good for the cartoonist. She knew she was wrong then she tried pulling the gender card. Shes not as good as she once was and shes having a meltdown over it now.
ReplyDeleteIt must be racist unless the cartoonist drew her as a svelte caucasian. Serena is built like a nose tackle, and has the physical features that she inherited from her west African ancestors, just like Osaka has from her Japanese and Hatian parents. It's not racist, it just is.
