Police investigating after shooting incident near SantaCaliGon carnival

The Independence Police Department is investigating after a shooting incident near the popular SantaCaliGon Days Festival Saturday. Police said that incident happened around 11:38 p.m. Saturday night in the 300 block of South Liberty - that's just off of festival grounds in an area where some festival attendees are parked.
