I'm being generous . . . Some of this hood is really nice and the rest is filled with $50K millionaires making live far too complicated for everyone else because of their massive credit card debt. Either way, this missive on what's actually a sign of increased pollution is important if only because it contradicts so much hype regarding the local automaker.

Northland neighbors blame Claycomo Ford plant for 'overwhelming' odor
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- You know the smell of fresh cut lawns? That's what it smells like in the Gracemor neighborhood right now. The Northland neighborhood is the kind of place where people still hang their laundry out to dry in the breeze, but it's that breeze that's creating problems. "This is the smelly neighborhood," Gracemor resident Sarah Dobson said.
When that Ford planet was built there in 1951 there were not houses all around it like now. All of you people couldn't wait to build a house next door to it. Then you move in knowing very well it is there and then bitch you can smell it. You all are as stupid as those who in Shawnee that moved next door to a landfill and then cry it smells like trash in the neighborhood. When that landfill opened there were no houses around it. What's next you going to move next to a set of train tracks then bitch every time a train goes by?
ReplyDeleteCheck your car for tiny spots of clear coat, it leaves the building and gets on employees cars and trucks.
ReplyDeleteGracemor is posh?? That's like calling the toy train rapid transit.
ReplyDeleteFord pays a fine to EPA every month for polluting the water. Cheaper than cleaning it up.
ReplyDeletea mortgage doesn't give you much clout. Wait til the cancer clusters show up in the neighborhood and find out.
ReplyDeleteis he ironically calling Gracemor posh? i grew up in the northland and had a lot of friends in gracemor and it's literally like raytown tier with $80,000 houses. Not a bad place but about as blue collar as it gets. It's where that guy burned down his mom's house two weeks ago
ReplyDeleteit's probably Gracemore that smells like shit, not Ford
ReplyDeleteGracemor is posh?? That's like calling Tony's Kansas City AWESOME when in fact both are smelly shitholes.
