McCaskill Vs. Hawley: The First Debate

We didn't learn a lot tonight as the candidates pretty much repeated their camapign commercials and worked diligently to DISTRACT VOTERS FROM TOUGH QUESTIONS ABOUT HEALTHCARE AND JOBS.

Take a look:

McCaskill and Hawley talk tariffs, taxes and Trump

U.S. Sen Claire McCaskill and state Attorney General Josh Hawley went toe-to-toe on health care, the Supreme Court, immigration and tariffs in their first forum of the campaign Friday. Hawley, a Republican, said the public will choose between a "heartland way of life'' and a "radical left-wing agenda."

  1. Hawlery echoed support for Trump's War on Farmers.

Sorry, massive tax increases on agriculture isn't going over well in rural Missouri.

  3. Not true, most of the farmers in Missouri are standing by Trump even with the tariffs. Calling it a war on farmers just means you don't know how it works or what is going on.

  4. What's sad is that Hawley's a lightweight twit, but he'll win in as red a state as Missouri.
And his influence in behalf of Missourians will never amount to much of anything.
McCaskill will lose and the upcoming vote on Kavanaugh will damage her in the election, which ever way she goes.
The latest MSNBC dream of a Democratic Senate is a pipe dream.
Kind of like a Davids victory in the Kansas 3rd.
    More "Resistance!!".
    To the barricades!
    Hahahahaha!

  5. @6:55 - try talking to some Farmers - you'll get a clue really fast!
Just do it when they're in a good mood, and don't wear your MAGA hat!

  6. It's classic dumb Repukelican decision making.

Like attacking the wrong country after 9/11.

Trump doesn't like trading partners like the EU, China, Canada, Mexico, etc. So he attacks US farmers, fisherman, auto makers, nail manufacturers, etc.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Americans are losing their jobs, businesses, land and going bankrupt because of Trump's stupid tax increases.

Wall Street got Q2 GDP of 4.2%, while Main Street in rural towns get none of that growth. They got cratering markets and prices for their products. The only thing increasing is gas prices and health care costs.
