Kansas Governor Kris Kobach 2019

Really great column rounds up the first year of the right-wing leader who will likely split the vote and achieve victory despite dire predictions. Take a look:

November 2019: Governor Kris Kobach's first year | The Wichita Eagle

From the vantage point of November 2019, the chaos of Kris Kobach's initial year as governor seems inevitable. The ambitious Kobach, much like Sam Brownback, assumed that a small-state governorship could propel him into the national spotlight. Remarkably, it has taken Kobach only a year to crash and burn, compared to Brownback's entire first term.

  1. Yes, he's going to win. But he's a smart SOB and might grow into the job.

Orman would be the best, imho, but he's not gaining traction in a year when lnes seem drawn in the sand.

The fixed positions of voters slso mean a non-republican can't win. The mob rule freak shows in DC have made Kansas voters risk averse to anyone affiliated with the lynchers and anarchists.

  4. Orman should pull out just like Kkkobach's father should have. The best part of Kkkobach ran down his daddy's leg.

  5. What a Maroon!
Imagine making the absolutely ridiculous statement that it will take Kobach twelve months to "crash and burn"! Three months tops - his resignation after Impeachment Charges are brought should happen before six months pass.

  6. If Kobach does win I'm ready for many small town high schools to close down-and they will. They won't be able to survive the gutting the education budget will get and I say good. My schools in Johnson County will be fine. It's time for simple-minded rubes of rural Kansas to feel the pain they repeatedly vote for and closing their high schools will do just that. Closing the high school in St Paul, KS or any number of other small Kansas towns will destroy them and I say good. I have to suffer right wing morons and their policies that have proven to fail time and time again because they only vote for any moron with an R after his name despite the fact that Republican is going to screw them like Brownback and his ilk did. Those rubes KNOW how bad Trump's tariffs are but would vote for him again tomorrow. After all they're getting more welfare, I mean subsidies on top of the welfare, I mean subsidies, they already get. Kobach will be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of these towns. Without their high schools they have no identity and will wither away and die. Guess if you want to kill yourself, go ahead.
