Kansas City Endorsement Ruckus Tonight

For our shift worker pals, here's a polite conversation among middle-class denizens of the political scene that offers high praise to all of their pals and pretty much pretends that the rest of the world doesn't exist . . . Such is 2018 life for media pundits who want to stay classy.

Check the description:

"Mike Shanin talks to WYCO District Attorney Mark Dupree about his newly formed Conviction Integrity Unit. Jason Grill, Jim Heeter, Woody Cozad and Patrick Tuohey discuss the high profile Republican endorsements of Democrat Laura Kelly, what we learned about the candidates running to become the next mayor of Kansas City after their first debate and the impact of road diets and electric scooters."

Take a look:

  1. So much ring kissing. Played more like an episode of the Godfather. They might have well just written love letters and read them aloud.

    1. Really great comments about RINOs here, from both sides. Kansas politics is screwed up and we're seeing way too much gamesmanship from the so-called "moderates" who really just want to climb the way up the political ladder. Instead of thinking about their constituents, they're just turning the election into a popularity contest and trying to make it about themselves, not the issues.

    2. ^^^^^^^^^ you dolt. they're doing what's the the best interest of Kansas, not Trump. For THAT they deserve a medal.

  2. Interesting. There's only one guy on here who actually knows how politics really works.

    Hint: It's Woody.

  6. Damn, one of the guys made a good point when the topic of affordable housing came up. He said we have unaffordable housing in this city which has been subsidizing cornish for so many years.

Spot on. He continues about how kc kicks the can down the road on serious issues, and how Jason Kander is just using Kansas City as his stepping stone to a national democrat platform.

  8. WELCOME TO WMuckus: A POLITICAL SHOW WITH 5 WHITE MALES

Breaking!! Some mysterious woman has stepped forward to accuse all these men of sexual assault/attempted rape.

She doesn't remember what year the attacks took place, where they took place, who was present, and admits she had been drinking before the attacks. She's never previously contacted law enforcement, but has been waiting all these years for these 5 men to appear together in public.

  11. MIT says 25 percent on Death Row are innocent but Dupree says 99 percent of the police work is done right and with "integrity"

  12. ^^^It's a kooky zealot law professor at the University of Michigan, not MIT. And it's 1-in-25, or about 4%, not 25%. Other than those minor errors, you were right on.

Except that the "study" was only a mathematical model, using assumptions related to how many people die of malaria. The authors of the study did not investigate a single real case of a person on death row. Other mathematical models have "proven" that a zillion people died from Hurricane Maria, and have predicted global temperatures that did not happen. Zealots bearing studies usually have cooked the numbers to get the result they want.
