ReplyDeleteWas doomed from start. Had a very nice, out of the weather, Metro Mall just a short distance away. Some how, folks were persuaded they wanted to walk around in heat and cold, park well away, and pay inflated prices. So much for common sense. Elites wanted a Plaza North???
ReplyDeleteYup had a lousy HVAC system.

Never could develop the way it was planned, never enough places to eat, and far too many Bars for an area whose retail operations were "family oriented".
It was supposed to be the Plaza of the Northland. It was supposed to have shops, restaurants, and some extremely expensive living spaces. It was supposed to pedestrian friendly. It failed on all counts. RIP Zona Rosa.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^ 10:27 nailed it. A bad plan that just got worse with time.
