Interesting strategy here. The ward parkway crowd will eat this up but Kander already has their votes. Believe it or not there are more conservative parts of KCMO that might not like the showdown.
ReplyDeleteKobach is the leader in his election bid and so is Kander. Their careers are sort of following parallel lines but Kobach's job is going to take him to the national level and that might not be assured for Kander as the mayor of a small and violent city.
DeleteIf there is one place that needs voting reform, it's Kansas. Johnson County in particular. If Kobach was doing his job, the election night debacle wouldn't have been such a disaster. Maybe that's a sign that Kris shouldn't be the next governor.
