Motorcyclist dies in crash Tuesday in south Kansas City

Bill Klinkhardt/KMBC SOURCE: Bill Klinkhardt/KMBC Kansas City police are investigating a fatal crash late Tuesday morning on the Outer Road of Interstate 49 near Missouri 150. Police said the single-vehicle crash, involving a motorcycle, happened in the southbound lanes of the Outer Road. The motorcyclist, a 37-year-old woman from Grandview, lost control and put the biek down.

And Bojan Louis's "Currents," a debut poetry collection published by BkMk Press at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, is on the list. "I'm celebrating!" Ben Furnish, managing editor of BkMk Press, wrote to KCUR in an email.
