While all eyes were riveted on the Republican blood match for Kansas governor between Secretary of State Kris Kobach and Gov. Jeff Colyer, which Kobach narrowly won, Democratic nominee Laura Kelly was glancing over her shoulder. There she sees an opponent who may have more to do with whether she becomes governor than Kobach.

  8. without having seen much of kelly, orman looks stronger. but her platform on her web sote is impressively detailed and well thought out, even if you disagree with her.

    the idea about campaigning and then seeing who's ahead in the polls is not bad. it would give kelly a chance to show her stuff for awhile and maybe edge out orman. or not.

  11. 12:02 asked what Orman stood for. What does any politician stand for? Themselves only. Talk is just that - words. Unless action is taken by a politician, what they say is meaningless. Maybe the voters will surprise everyone and vote for Orman.
