An chancy political gambit . . . She's fighting for jobs of people who all voted for Prez Trump. Here's a policy overview and economic chatter among worker bees who still overwhelmingly support the Prez much to the chagrin of the people trying to save them from themselves . . .
As Trump announces Mexico trade deal, McCaskill continues to sound alarm on tariffs
U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill continued her criticism of President Donald Trump's steel and aluminum tariffs, which she says could do lasting economic damage to Missouri's agriculture and manufacturing economies. At a meeting Monday in St. Louis, the Democratic senator heard from companies and agricultural-commodity groups affected by the tariffs as Trump announced a trade deal with Mexico.
trying to win the economic argument against him in a booming economy?
ReplyDeleteCLAIRE THE LIAR DOESNT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE OR SHE WOULD VOTE FOR TAX CUTS AND TO VOTE TO KEEP THE DEATH TAX OUT! SHES A TYPICAL LIBERAL LIAR
ReplyDeleteThe libs are bankrupting the cities in this country just look at Chicago
ReplyDeleteLOOK AT THE CHICAGO POLICE, TEACHER AND FIREFIGHTER PENSION SYSTEMS ARE DONE! 28 BILLION DOLLAR SHORTFALL
ReplyDeleteAnother reason not to vote for liberals.
ReplyDeleteCHICAGO HAS BEEN RUN INTO THE GROUND BY DEMOCRAPS FOR 60 FUCKING STUPID YEARS!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really work to have a schoolteacher-styled person telling the Trumpster how to negotiate. Negotiating is what he's doing, of course, in some of his outlandish opening statements.
ReplyDeleteBut at least he's TRYING to help Americans, including American workers, get FAIR trade.
McCasskill is desperate.
ReplyDeleteTrump cutting off her hubby's developer subsidies?
ReplyDeleteAmerica is tired of giving the world extra cards. The days of having an advantage on us are over. MAGA
ReplyDelete#walkaway
Well, you can for damn sure bet Trump isn't cutting off ant of his own Government Subsidies!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I understand that his Hotel in DC is booked solid- nobody staying there, just Foreign Governments booking rooms permanently and leaving them empty - two thirds of those by one Eastern European Country we allied ourselves with in WWII. The other third of the rooms are being paid for a part of our "foreign aid" to small countries.
It's the only way you can get a meeting with him!
Hi Claire. Sorry nothing seems to be working.:)
DeleteWhat ever happened to the $140 million the Russians dropped into the Clinton "bank accounts" back in 2010?
ReplyDeleteWe get to the bottom of that yet?
ReplyDeleteBlast away puppet face Claire, it's having the right effect.
5:52 One doesn't have to look at Shitago for democrapic disaster. We're living in a democrapic shithole of our own. Unneeded airports, toy trains, hotels, Cordish subsidies, parking garages, poor schools, high water rates, rampant crime, ad infinitum.
ReplyDeleteIt seems luck has finally run out for mccaskill, she will LOSE in November. The only person mccaskill cares about is mccaskill.
ReplyDeleteTrump's tax increases are killing rural Missouri.
ReplyDeleteGood for Claire to fight new agricultural taxes.
Oh yes, I'm sure she's deeply invested in the plight of farmers.
DeleteWhen she remembers they exist. Party on the jet!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize Claire ran Chicago. It sounds like she really screwed that city over.
Hawllery's supporters are getting desperate.
5:44 the economy isn't booming, though it is about to blow up.
ReplyDeleteThe bailout for farmers is now 3.5 billion.
That's called socialism, unless done by Republicans.
Wages have fallen in the last twelve month period.
Regular folks can't make ends meet, but the rich are happy. Their economy is booming. Everyone else's not so much.
Claire 2018!
ReplyDeleteLaura 2018!
Davids 2018!
Ocasio-Cortez 2018!
Hillary 2020!
Cut taxes for the rich and increase spending for the war dept. Will this country ever be able to recover from the damage this moron has done?
ReplyDeleteObama increased the debt as much as all the previous presidents put together. Trump inherited a mess and he has to do something to turn it around and it takes money to do it, duh.
ReplyDelete^^bullshit.
ReplyDeleteGeorge Bush inherited a surplus that he gave to the rich.
Obama inherited a mess. Trump did not.
Obama was the best President we had in a long time. Republicans blocked him at every turn mostly because he was black.
Jobs bill for veterans? No, it will raise the deficit.
Infrastructure bill? No, it will raise the deficit.
The tax cut wasn't meant to stimulate the economy it was to shore up the support of rich donors who told them to cut taxes or stop asking for money.
No. Obama was an extremely divisive, far-left president whose negative coattails cost the Democrats more than a thousand seats in downticket races at all levels. You can cry racism if you like, but the fact is people just didn't like his politics.
DeleteOr his foreign policy disasters, or his economic pessimism and total lack of vision.
Obama got more popular the less people saw him. Meanwhile, Trump has weathered the negative effort of the entire media/entertainment culture and only gained support.
Sorry. :)
Any poster arguing Trump inherited a mess is an obvious idiot that doesn't deserve a reply.
ReplyDeleteOr it's a Russian bot spreading fake news.
It's almost charming to see someone blaming Russians for their own electoral and policy failures.
DeletePlease keep running on taxes.
ReplyDeleteRural Missouri just loves Trump's tax increases and what they are doing to the farming community. The trade war is so successful now, Republicans are printing more money for bailouts as we speak.
Trump can keeping cheering on Wall Street as they get even richer, while Claire reminds everyone she voted against the $2 trillion in new debt to pay Trump's crony capitalists.
Please keep running on Trump hate and empty identity politics. Rural Missouri just loves that. :)
DeleteI'll say it again, the morons that post on these comments are those that fight over the crumbs while the wealthy take their tax cut cookies. Enjoy, suckers.
