Following complaints of high bills, KCP&L offers assistance

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Amid complaints of high utility bills, KCP&L announced some assistance for customers on Friday. The company said it will not disconnect residential customers through the month of September. It will also offer customers four-month payment plans to pay off their balances.
