ReplyDeleteVery derivative of many GOP ads. Voters might ask what private insurance plan--especially if Trump has his way, how he's going to keep taxes from going up in 2025, and after the child separation program if ICE might at least need reining in. If this is the best Yoder can do, he's toast.

ReplyDeleteSharice just lacks experience. I went to the White House web site and searched "Fellows". It is a prime level paid intern program. Started by Lyndon Johnson specifically to get "qualifications" in resumes of future democrat candidates. It is not a program that gives any special education or advantages in governmental policy, all smoke and mirrors.

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty happy about the GOP health reform simply because it removed the tax/punishment for those who choose not to have insurance. A tax on pure existing. My health care costs have almost tripled since 2013 and my coverage has gotten worse...higher deductibles, elimination of plans, etc. Obamacare was one of the worst burdens put on the working class and it seems like not even the dems defend it anymore, just shift goal posts. Anyway, I'm pretty happy about that.

Yoder chaired the House Budget Committee in the Kansas legislature and was very much a part of the leadership while he served in that capacity.
That's one of the most important committees in Topeka and one of the most consequential chairmanships.
If a person wants to join a legislative body, it likely helpful to have a hands-on understanding of how that all works.
