KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Heath Fillmyer allowed three singles over seven innings for his first major league win, Adalberto Mondesi and Drew Butera each drove in three, and the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago Cubs 9-0 Wednesday night.

  1. The teens getting 3700 or so votes are just other high schoolers throwing their votes into the perverbial trash can. The parents of the teen candidates were idiots for urging their sons to pull this prank and make a travesty of the political system.
    The right to vote is important. Many of the 3700 or so votes could have made a difference in the real gubernatorial election, but it didn't because they threw their votes away. Shame on them and the parents that didn't teach them better. I'll bet a couple of these ignorant candidates were in Mr. Niermans class.
