  1. Great urban planning. You won't be able to get down Main because of the toy train and bike lane bullshit. Now they're going to fuck up Broadway. Looks like Gillham and SW Trafficway are going to get even more crowded.

  5. Given the number of cyclist and pedestrian deaths this year, I think I’d stick to riding in parks.

  6. Oh the horror! The deaths, my God, it’s sooo scary out there!

  7. ^^^^^^^^^ It'll be scary when they screw this thing up just as badly as everything else.

I can only hope they slow down traffic.

I'm sure the "improvements" will cost no less than $5 million for some speed bumps and paint. Thanks Sly!

  8. Start with bike lanes on prospect

  9. First the Chiefs announce the new tailgating policy now the city announces a war on automobile drivers. These are bad decisions.

  12. Are biking advocates functionally retarded?

They literally believe that making roads less accommodating for cars that it will lead to less traffic when it will lead to more traffic due to the inconvenience and worse gridlock and less safe streets. This is a plan targeting the lower and middles classes who will bear the brunt of this since they typically have to work multiple jobs and the sort of jobs where punctuality is incredibly important. These streets make getting to work much more difficult for the working class and make this city less functional
