A bus ride through this town and a smoke break resulted in death one of the alleged 25-million annual visitors to Kansas City. Here's family testimony and a painful reflection on this violent town cowtown . . .
'My son mattered:' Mother visits place where son was shot, killed in KCMO
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Very little is known about what happened before Dante Lorenzo Wachtler, 25, was shot and killed. He is part of Kansas City's violent trend this summer, and it's the impression his California family now has of the city.
Shouldn’t post this, Tony. Gopher won’t like it. It’s not good for “momentum.”
ReplyDeleteGod this city sucks around the edges doesn't it ?
ReplyDeleteDamn, that's a sad story. Can't believe it didn't receive more attention even though it was like 10 days ago. Lots of murders involve people already caught up in some crime but this one didn't
ReplyDeleteSly's Killa City
ReplyDeleteSad that KCMO will have to change the numbers to 24,999,999 tourists anally. People should expect this from killa city one of the most dangerous in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteRoll da dice win you be in da Killa City. Sometime you lose sometime you win. Dats da rulez.

ReplyDeleteKansas City is not only an extremely violent city it's also extremely dysfunctional.
They can't even tell the residents when their water is going to be shut off in certain areas, and no Go4KC it was not an emergency.
As you can see business an tourism is down K.C. is a dying city, and we have a mayor who is so stupid all he can say is.....I don't know what to do.
His family member next?????? I hope so.
Mogadishu on the plains.
ReplyDeleteThe federal government needs to issue a travel advisory, because your civic leaders won't tell the truth about what a dangerous shit hole Kansas City is.
ReplyDeleteMost of these killings seem to be just random acts of violence.
I tell everyone I know to stay the hell away.
"Makes me scared for the people of Kansas City or for the people who come here, it really does. I don't want other people to go through this. It's not right," Priore said.
ReplyDeleteTrust me we are scared and whole heartedly agree it’s not right.
"My son mattered. He mattered. Anyone who's murdered matters to somebody," she said.
Not according to sLIE, nobody matters or he would be turning over every rock looking for money to beef up the popo.
All sLIE and gopherkc care about is how much money did he spend here before he was killed, gotta have as much money as possible all the way up to your last breathe, I’m sure there’s some bills that will have to be paid to help keep the developers I mean killa shitty afloat, money to be taken even after death.
Go4KC promotes this death as an attraction. "You can visit Kansas City, but you may never leave!"
ReplyDeleteSorry if that is so divisive, Go4KC, but I can guarantee you I can walk anywhere in Gladstone, just about anywhere in North Kansas City, anywhere from North Kansas City and on up North, at any time of the day, and not get shot. That's never true south of the river. This young man should have been armed and ready to defend himself. Unfortunately, he grew up in a state that had him used to living defenseless, and when he ended up in Slytown, he got slayed. Unfortunate.
CCW and carry every where you go. Put your cell phone away and be cautious of everyone.
ReplyDelete^^Or live somewhere else. Only crazy fools would live in Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteGuns are not the solution. Who protects us from you?
Hire more cops. Period.
@10:10 You are worried about law-abiding citizens carrying concealed weapons? What are you worried about? Them protecting you when a thug tries to rob and assault you? What would you do when confronted by a thug who cares nothing for your life, your rights, your property, etc.? Are you going to pray him away? Are you going to offer free BBQ? Prepare to be a victim. I refuse to be one.
ReplyDeleteWhen seconds count.....the cops are only minutes away. Defend and take care of yourself legally. Do not rely on the police.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt the shooter came from the city union mission that place has more criminals than the jail itself
