KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #87: ONE MAN DEAD AFTER GUNFIRE RINGS OUT!!!



The latest local killing report reminds us that police patrolling local streets are more likely to catch criminals than spy tech or community outreach schemes.

Fox4: Sounds of gunfire lead to a homicide investigation

KMBC: Man shot and killed near 68th and Cleveland Saturday morning

Deets:

"Just after 5 A.M. Saturday morning KCMO Police were on patrol near 68th and Cleveland when they heard the sound of gunshots and saw a vehicle speeding away from the scene. The officers pursued the vehicle across state line into Kansas City, Ks. where the vehicle crashed at I-35 and 7th Street. One person was taken into custody at the scene of the crash. The shooting victim was found at 68th and Cleveland and officers attempted to save the life of the victim, but he died at the scene."

This is the 87th homicide so far for 2018 compared to 97 last year at this time and 74 the year before that . . .

    But no where near as dangerous as getting between the Mothers in Charge gang and a television camera!
