KC police ask for help in finding person of interest in homicide case

Kansas City police are looking for a person of interest in a homicide late Tuesday near Ninth and Harrison streets. Investigators said they would like to talk with Quayyim Farris, 35, about the case. Witnesses told police that Terriante McClinton, 27, was shot during an argument with another man in the park.

Metro Squad looking for pickup truck seen in area of Shawnee homicide

Metro Squad detectives are looking for a pickup truck in connection with a homicide in Shawnee early Wednesday. David J. Paterno, 57, died from injuries suffered during a fight near 51st Place and Monticello Road. Authorities said they are looking for a white four-door GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck that was seen in the area about 1 a.m.

GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- A 24-year-old is now facing charges after prosecutors say a fight at a gas station led to a deadly shooting in Grandview. Gregory Smith has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the Aug. 6 shooting that happened near High Grove Road and White Avenue.
