Feds ask for pause in duck boat lawsuits

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri has asked a judge to order a temporary pause in all civil lawsuits related to the deadly duck boat sinking in Branson. The office cited an "ongoing criminal investigation" by the federal government. The request was filed Wednesday morning.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police are searching for a killer. Tuesday night at 11th and Freeman Avenue, sources say an argument turned deadly and a man named Antwaen Reliford was killed defending his family. "He died in my arms," said Reliford's sister, who asked not to be named because her brother's killer has not been caught.

Man accused of stealing patrol car in Missouri, fleeing to Kansas now faces charges

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker filed charges Wednesday against a man who is accused of stealing a patrol car in Kansas City, Missouri, and fleeing into Kansas City, Kan., Tuesday. According to court documents, an officer first approached the man because he had been spotted walking in traffic.
