Kansas City Congressman Cleaver Pushes Back Against Banks Playing La Migra



After citizens were impacted by account freezes and asking for proof of citizenship . . . Here's the local reaction:

“I recently became aware of this after hearing reports of people in the area whose bank accounts had been frozen because they did not respond to an inquiry from the bank on their citizenship status. They are interfering with the livelihood of citizens,” Cleaver said in a statement.

He said he's requesting a hearing with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and other institutions.

    Congressman Carwash found an excuse to squeeze Bank of America's balls in an attempt to force them to stop making him pay back his court-ordered million dollar bad debt.

    And you'll never hear about in local media because the Star and TV stations provide political cover for Carwash.

    There is nothing requiring Banks to ask, know, or keep records of this.
