KANSAS CITY CHIEFS PRESEASON CLIMAX!!! NOOB QB MAHOMES MAKES FANBOYS SWOON WITH PRESEASON SUPERBOWL TOUCHDOWN PASS!!!
Wait a second. These games don't count and there is no preseason Super Bowl.
Nevermind . . .
THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS HYPE MACHINE IS WORKING IN OVERTIME CELEBRATING THIS PRACTICE GAME HIGHLIGHT!!!
Meanwhile, most experts believe the team won't make the playoffs and this is really just an early start to delay the inevitable disappointment.
Take a look:
Arrowhead Pride: Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes threw a ridiculous touchdown pass that travelled nearly 69 yards in the air on Friday night against the Atlanta Falcons. Twitter exploded.
KC Kingdom: KC Chiefs finally got to see that beautiful arm of Mahomes on Friday night, as the new signal caller ended the first half with an amazing touchdown pass.
Chiefswire: Of course Mahomes first preseason touchdown of the preseason was a long bomb to Tyreek Hill. It’s just to poetic to be anything else other than that. Hopefully this is just the first of many more explosive plays to come from this dynamic duo.
And the Chiefs won the Pre-season Super Bowl . . .
FoxSports: Mahomes has an up-and-down night in Chiefs’ 28-14 win over Falcons
You decide . . .
I knew he could do it.
ReplyDeleteDon't be a hater. The guy has a cannon for an arm and that's important. This is a team with a lot of talent and that's obvious. Don't root against the home team, it's stupid and only funny sometimes.
DeleteYou will be wrong here, Chiefs are totally going to get at least a wildcard with Mahaomes & Hill.
Gonna be fun...
ReplyDeleteI thought everyone here was boycotting the NFL and those ungrateful darkies.
ReplyDeleteDon't disappoint your Dear Leader.
^^^^We are you jackass!
ReplyDeleteTony, in case you didnt know the people of this city love our professional sprots teams, sometimes our teams win sometimes they lose, but you as a hater, its understandable because you are a loser 100% of the time!! If the only thing you can do on this blog is bash our city, our sports teams, and make your headlines to ONLY bring out everything negative here, then maybe you should find another city to blog about because you blog your personal issues and attitude about a city that has come a long ways in the last 20 years, and while its not perfect, no city is AND no CITY ever will be, but fuck man lighten up a bit, blog more about the good shit going on in KC, you will have more people respect your blog when it isnt filled with 99% negativity everyday. I have watched your blog for years and rarely comment because all of your chronies will come out of the wood work in your defense. You have a dark world blog going on here, and your shame should be is that you are educated enough to know that your blog could make a positve impact on our city instead of your year after year negative impact, I am surprise your blog is still here, but then again your fans are the same haters as you. You should seriously take your blog private, and then you can all stay miserable together.
ReplyDeleteCounterargument: Our sports teams have sucked most of the time. Our city leadership is a clueless clown show, and crime is getting worse.
DeleteGo to bed and sleep it off.
^^^ thank you for commenting at home instead of during work hours on your City Hall computer.
ReplyDeleteThe Chiefs offense will be good it is the defense that really has me worried.
ReplyDelete9-7 season I predict.
Chiefs will suck balls.
ReplyDelete11:23 PM: Well-stated. What he really is, is an "internet troll", who has gotten in trouble before, in case you didn't know..
ReplyDeletehttps://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article306941/Tonys-Kansas-City-blogger-retracts-posts-apologizes-to-former-head-of-KC-firefighters-union.html
Although I can't prove anything - I don't believe that this blog has any other purpose than to offend and anger people; primarily the same caliber of people who troll around on Twitter or comments threads on newspaper websites. Nobody can be as seriously pathologically-obsessed with hating and trying to discredit the downtown Streetcar like Tony portrays frequently here. Ditto when it comes to violent crime - another thing that he acts like an addict getting a fix of - when a homicide happens.
And I agree with you - yes, I do not deny that Kansas City has problems. And not to 'excuse' it, but show me who doesn't?
St. Joseph, Columbia, St. Louis, Springfield, Wichita - all are having sharp increases in crime. Violent crime is not a "uniquely Kansas City" thing - like this blog would try to lead you to believe.
Yes, the violent crime and homicides are a problem. But they are not involving innocent people just getting gunned down by flying bullets out of nowhere. You watch the news - most of it is people engaging in behaviors and associating with bad people - in certain areas of town - that the rest of us know better than to do.
And very little of it, on rare occasion, happens in places that most people go: downtown, Crossroads, Plaza, UMKC Campus, Zone Rosa, the Sports Complex, and so on.
Draw a line from around Independence Avenue and Prospect Avenue - down to Swope Park. That's where most homicides are happening. Look it up if you don't believe me.
And yes, politics in City Hall can be 'questionable' to put it nicely. And yes, controversial things happen and lots goes on that we don't agree with. That's life. But for most people - life goes on. Way more people than not go about their daily lives in Kansas City without major problems.
What I would realistically tell people about Kansas City - - nothing wrong here that you won't find anywhere else in metropolitan American society.
And yes, I know the trolls here are already preparing to call me a "fag" and a "doucebag" and whatever other vulgar name as we speak.
Reads TKC no less than 5 times daily and obviously late into the night.
DeleteSo, your whole extremely lengthy and defensive argument is to launch an ad hominem against Tony while at the same time agreeing that crime is a growing problem and that the civic 'government' we have is a collection of clown-car grifters.
DeleteWhile defending the silly, unwanted, overpriced and unreliable toy train that is a study in civic irresponsibility, wastefulness, and breach of the public trust.
Less is more sometimes, David. :)
Yee haa.^^^^^ HAhahahaah
ReplyDeleteMahomes isn’t going to be what you suckers think.
ReplyDeleteName the last half breed that amounted to anything.
DeleteCharles Bronson I could go on
ReplyDeleteObuma almost did it
ReplyDelete1:46 AM - whats wrong with people posting late at night before the drunk fucks post at 1:46 AM? Either you have insomnia, or just got home from a bar and the fat bitches turned you down so you have nothing better to do than post on here while you jack off in all of your lust for Tony!! Kinda gay bro!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I see a lot of picks to go along with those spectacular throws from Mahomes. We're in the preseason and he's throwing them, not a good sign of things to come.
