Another last minute ordinance before election bites the dust much to the chagrin of drivers and biz owners. Sadly, this is a win for the right to peacefully assemble and bother people. Take a look:
Kansas City Council Hits Pause On Proposal Aimed At Curbing Panhandling
A proposal aimed at reducing panhandling on city streets has hit a nerve in Kansas City, Missouri, so city officials are taking a step back and plan to rework it. On Thursday, more than 70 people packed a room at City Hall to testify both in support and against the measure.
The "homeless" that I see arrive in cars and take 60 minute shifts on key corners? The guys making $3-4k cash free per month? All beneath the office windows.. Can't believe anyone doesn't support this ordinance. It feels like the streets of Calcutta with all the beggars massing on the roads.
