TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! CRIME EXPERT DR. ERNEST EVANS WARNS KANSAS CITY CLOSE TO BREAKING MONTHLY HOMICIDE RECORD!!!

The level of local killing is reaching EPIDEMIC proportions this month and one of the top local experts on crime warns us of the near record breaking impact.

Consider . . .

The per capita homicide rate is 13 times higher in Kansas City, Missouri, than it is in these 10 surrounding jurisdictions, despite the fact that every municipality in Kansas and Missouri has roughly the same gun laws.

To wit . . .

BLOODY SUNDAY!!! THE KANSAS CITY AUGUST 2018 HOMICIDE COUNT THREATENS TO BREAK A RECORD!!!

Accordingly, here's the word from one of the foremost experts on crime in Kansas City . . .

Dr. Ernest Evans reports: "The all-time one month record for homicides in KCMO was August 2008--when we had 20 homicides. Right now, we stand at 15 homicides in KCMO for the month of August 2018--we have had SEVEN homicides in the past TWO WEEKS. City officials have to face up to the reality of the crime crisis in KCMO and stop pretending to believe that they can do nothing until the Missouri legislature tightens up the state's gun law."

  1. Never fear, crime is going to the top issue for the next election and all of the mayor and city council members are going to have a lot to say about the issue.

I hope they don't just talk about their resistance to President Trump and how they love dog parks.

    2. As long as you can afford a $3000 apartment, crime isn't really a concern. If it becomes a problem, you can just move back to a gated community. Therefore, it's not going to be on the agenda for the people who an afford to run for office.

  3. This is what liberalism has to offer. Rationalizing high crime, blame guns not culture, and weak prosecution. I mean...judges in Jackson County are letting people out of jail accused of murder.

    ReplyDelete
  4. It’s not just the judges, it’s also the fact that we have a very weak prosecutor, Jean Petersucker Baker, who is very soft on crime and completely without skill.

  5. The blame for the spike in violence KCMO is experiencing rests on the shoulders of the Mayor, City Council, and City Manager who colluded to cut fund to KCPD three times in the last ten years for a total of $45 million. The repeated budget cuts reduced the number of Officers by more than one hundred, and the number of civilians by more than 200. They hid behind claims of public safety taking too high of a percentage of the city budget. They blame gun laws passed in Jefferson City. They claim the police just need to improve their allowcation of funds.
They say anything to deflect blame from themselves. I hope the voters remember when it comes time to vote their asses out of office!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Many voters in KCMO are not too bright. Plus you have the hipsters and millennials who think its cool to live in high crime areas. They think they can just show everyone love and they wont get shot. lmao

    ReplyDelete
  7. The problem becomes starkly obvious when shooters who are apprehended have rap sheets longer than a roll of toilet paper. Eliminate the criminals and you eliminate the crime. The community has to accept some blame. The "no snitch" culture added to no fathers and no self respect on the part of the women having babies they cannot support and raise properly makes for a never ending cycle. Use the secure TIPS option. Damn shame to have to pay for citizens to assist police tho clean up their shitholes, plus a Weak prosecutor who lets hoods return to the street. Don't blame the cops.

    ReplyDelete
  8. The mayor has spent the past 6 years saying it’s not the police department’s responsibility to stop murder. It’s the community’s responsibility. My neighbors and I aren’t walking the streets and answering 911 calls. My neighbors aren’t driving around the city looking for criminals and the crimes they commit. We expect that the council and mayor will ensure that they properly fund a dependent that serves this city. We need to find a mayor that will actually work for those that live here and pay bills. Not the rich lawyers, construction companies and theives that take tax breaks.

Enough!!!! How does the mayor stand in front of cameras and lie every time about not needing more officers??? The bodies littering this city are the direct result of a bully mayor and spineless council members who refuse to call his bullshit. No more taxes, bonds or re-elections for the turds in city hall. You have one job, and that is provide our city with enough officers to patrol the city. From every report I have read the PD is down 140 officers. How can the mayor not admit that fewer officers equates to a less safe city.

Call bullshit. Call city hall and complain!!! They need to hear it loud and clear!!! This needs to stop and they should admit this was intentional, the mayor hates the PD not being city controlled.

  10. We can’t keep up, we have less officers than anytime since I was hired 10 years ago. I used to have 5-6 every day in my sector and now we have 3 if we are lucky. We have horse patrol, CIT unit, NOVA, PAL, DARE and every division has admin sergeants. We have more commanders than we need and we keep being told to do our best. The best I can do is skip lunch every single 10 hour day. We have sergeants in the stations reviewing our video tapes and getting lunch, but my sector works our asses off. Not complaining at the work, but just saying we can’t keep up with the calls.

I love this job and the people I meet. They deserve more than what we can do with the manpower shortages.

  11. Can someone explain to me why there is an earnings tax in KCMO that punishes your income while cutting the police force? Isn’t the earnings tax for services like public safety?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Public services, including police protection, are supposed to benefit greatly from the e-tax. Yet all you have to do is look around KCMO to see that is not happening. My guess is that it’s just another slush fund for Slyme’s pet projects like pizza parties and festivals.

  15. Help is on the way!
The revs and the Star are back on that high-priority issue of renaming Paseo.
And there's a NEW group of do-gooders who are going to "address" the crime issue.
The Star is featuring vigils in the Sunday paper.
And Mothers in Charge is getting lots of local television news time.
Only the destructive feral goons don't seem to be getting the message.
Some great observations and solid recommendations in the comments above, but NONE of the council or mayoral candidates are going to make a bit of difference. They may TALK about public safety in the campaigns, but after the election they'll ignore the issue and offer the same tired excuses residents have been hearing for decades.
Progress might be made if KCMO elected people who actually have an interest in municipal government and its responsibilities.
    Unfortunately they do not.
KCMO is a sucking chest wound on the entire region.

  19. Ok, if we finish August at 90, we would need to average 16 per month through December to get the record. Anyone think our hood rats can do it?

  22. Slie's feel good programs, NoVa, Aim4Peace, ad Hoc, Moms Demand Action, Mothers in Charge, COMBAT, social workers, free pizza parties aka rock the block and many others have miserably failed the community, have no accountability or results and just siphon money from the taxpayers. They are just another bullhorn for Slie’s failed approach to crime.

These feel good programs should merge with Big Brothas and Big Sistas along with the local Society of Gentlemen program. These programs are accountable, yield results and hold participants accountable. The leaders of the feel good programs must serve as mentors with Big Brothas and Sistas. The merged organizations will be able to mentor more young people and have one common goal, showing the young people there is a better way to function in killa city and preparing them for a life without crime.

    ReplyDelete
  23. This violence won't stop until people who are actual leaders and not worthless mouthpieces pushing their own personal agendas stand up and start being real and speaking out within the communities where the majority of these killings are occurring. Being real means reporting what you know, who did what, and cooperating with police. You don't have to like the police (and they really don't care if you do) just say what you know and try to be a decent human being. Start pointing fingers at who is actually responsible for the murders and stop blaming failed programs, poorly attended vigils, and politicians who do not care. That's the hard and sad truth. Until the citizens get involved this will continue.

  24. Due to several close e encounters with Police Department officials in the court system due to crime and being accused of a traffic infraction I have learned that the police department and the number of cities around here have the ability to see what is taking place on the streets, and on sidewalks and sometimes other Jason places through the use of street cameras that were commonly told us were strictly for traffic flow related issues in control of traffic signals I have seen and learned that these cameras have the ability to use what appears to be a nationwide of facial recognition like in the UK 2 track and locate people due to this it is my opinion that the police departments are sitting on a wide range of video footage that would identify exactly who well identify exactly who the real troublemakers are.Due to a work-related relationship I know of one crime where are they perpetrator went into the retail store and killed one of the workers And the Kansa City Missouri Police Department told works not to talk about the video footage they had which would have resolved identifying who did the killing.
.This crime remains unsolved. Could it be the real political agenda behind this is to let crime get so bad that we're forced to live in a country of video surveillance?

  25. Homicide epidemic?
    What homicide epidemic?
KCMO has Queer Eye, Miss Black America, and the nation's most expensive per mile streetcar, so don't talk to me about homicides.
    Now, who's interested in taxpayer-funded pre-K?

  26. Liberals live off problems, they cannot solve anything or they are out of a job.

  27. Presenter Cit, nah, that's not the way they work. There are the redlight cameras, they are fairly large boxes with large apertures, and flashes. That is what it takes to get a high-quality shot of a license plate, let alone a face. The tiny cameras on little stalks at the top of the street lights, those are just good enough to measure light change in cmxcm pixels. The pavement color is set as the base measurement, when a vehicle comes into view, it obstructs a certain number of those pixels. A trigger is set based on the number of obscured pixels which triggers the light. They could-ish identify a human shape, but simply do not have the resolution to obtain a facial identification program.

That said, while I completely dislike the police state of constant surveillance I would be completely in favor of completely blanketing a certain area in KC where most crimes occur.

  40. I’m being serious here when I write this. The Missouri Department of Corrections seriously needs to build a medium/maximum security prison IN Jackson County just for Jackson County. Then KCMO needs to get new prosecutors preferably from Olathe and JOCO who are tough. Maybe get some new judges who don’t let people out of jail accused of murders either. KCMO is flat out fucked until they begin removing the problem population out of the city.
