  2. toll roads?

good toll roads are better than bad free roads, some of which are dangerous.

i-70 needs to be upgraded big-time, meaning three lanes each way with no trucks in the left lane.

it could be done as a toll road and it would be good for missouri, all of missouri.

  3. No trucks in the left lane? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You'd have to post a Highway Patrolman every mile!
You fool, don't you know the Interstates belong to the Truckers?
Just ask any one of them!

  4. The trash truck ordinance sounds like a big-time bad move. What defines dangerous passing? Should I slow down to 20 MPH going around an automated trash truck, too much, how about 5MPH? Should I stay within my lane as required by law? Should I depart my lane (technically "failure to maintain the right side of the roadway", ask me how I know) when passing a trash truck. Should I pass a slow-moving trash truck only when permitted by the appropriate road markings thereby backing up other traffic behind me? Foolish. There should be well defined regulations for all traffic rules. Cops should be able to use leniency in deciding when to enforce, but it should not be up to them to make an estimate of how someone caused the infraction. There are already laws on the books (Careless and Imprudent) that are far to lenient in their definition of an infraction.
