U.S. REP. SAM GRAVES SEYZ ICE IS NICE!!!

Alternative perspective push back on the new hotness among progressive activists . . .

Turner Report: Congressman Graves - Proposal to abolish ICE is ridiculous

Money legislation line:

"I was proud to vote last week to send a loud and clear message that we support our agents and their mission. If ICE didn’t exist, the 127,000 criminal illegal aliens who were arrested, the 2,370 pounds of fentanyl and the 6,967 pounds of heroin that were seized last year, would exist in the United States.

The outrageous suggestion to abolish this agency is irresponsible, and it would wreak havoc in communities across Missouri and there is no doubt we are safer because of their work. I’m not sure what more evidence is needed that ICE plays a vital role in our homeland security."

TKC isn't making a counterpoint on this issue but despite the aggressive examples offered, both the opioid & heroin EPIDEMIC are in full swing and getting worse. So maybe employing the losing drug war as a model for immigration effectiveness doesn't inspire as much confidence as the politico intended . . . ??? But that's a question and not an argument.

You decide . . .

  1. Any volunteers from the open boarder advocates that can explain how this country could survive such stupid idea ?

    1. ^^^^^ ICE doesn't enforce the borders. That's the job of border patrol. If you don't understand how the system works, then you shouldn't talk about it.

  2. Sure; break ICE up into its component parts (Customs Service and INS) and let them go back to doing their jobs without all the Stasi overkill.

In addition, let the US Border Patrol go back to handling everything to do with the borders.

ICE is gone, and with it its zealous overreach.

    Problem solved.

    1. Or, we could dial back the fake outrage from the left and let a working solution work.

  3. Maybe if ICE spent a little less time raiding meat packing plants and farms and other shitty job sites where American citizens have absolutely no desire to work, they could spend more time chasing down illegal aliens involved in criminal activity. Jus' sayin.

  5. 8:05, crimmies can and do hold jobs,uh,out in public, too. Does the name (fill in the blank with any of the many politicians, athletes, actors, etc,) sound familiar?

Anyhoo, nabbing fraudsters at the poultry processing and other work sites is prudent. Those who are illegal entrants to the US, any eluding arrests or prosecutions in other nations, the identity thieves, the tax cheats, the welfare scammers, the unlicensed drivers, and more, MUST NOT BE IGNORED---ALLOWED TO DO CRIMES------TO SHIRK THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES---TO STEAL FROM THE TAXPAYERS.

SOMEBODY TELL THE LIBERALS, PROGRESSIVES, COMMIES, AND CRIMMIE CODDLERS....
....THERE ARE LAWS OF THIS NATION THAT ARE MEANT TO BE ABIDED BY....

  7. ^^^^^ All of these comments are forgetting that we are a nation of laws and DUE PROCESS should be granted to everyone. We all have that right and pushing that aside means that immigration hawks are also not obeying the law.

  8. No due process in the constitution for illegal aliens.

The Antifa, pussyhat,BLM,and the other assorted Soros pinkos know our US constitution does not transfer inalienable rights to border bustin' banditos!

These anarchists who apply murdering, burning, looting, and violence by all means to their acts of "civil disobedience", want all laws they disagree with to be ignored.

  9. 3:34 might win ignorant post of the day. Then 5:11 came along to add some racism to the historical ignorance.

Due process and constitutional rights don't just apply to citizens.

"The U.S. Supreme Court settled the issue well over a century ago. But even before the court laid the issue to rest, a principal author of the Constitution, James Madison, the fourth president of the United States, wrote: "that as they [aliens], owe, on the one hand, a temporary obedience, they are entitled, in return, to their [constitutional] protection and advantage."

More recently, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Zadvydas v. Davis (2001) that "due process" of the 14th Amendment applies to all aliens in the United States whose presence maybe or is "unlawful, involuntary or transitory."

    Go read some history.

  10. 7:23am FTW

How did we ever survive before ICE was created (waayyyyyy back in 2003)?

It was created in response to 9/11 and the need to combat crime related to terrorism by foreigners.

Conservatives then were bitching and moaning about Dubya's new Department of Homeland Security and the millions of new federal employees needed to staff it. Now they love it?

They were not created as a deportation unit to round up kids or anyone going about their normal business. They are supposed to focus on criminals. If they can't do that, it's a waste of money and should be disbanded.
