  1. Whats to stop people making up a domestic violence case just to get out of the rent?

  3. Exactly 1:12. Attorneys are currently advising their clients to falsely claim domestic violence so attorney fees get paid for and their clients get more than their fair share of marital assets, up to and including maintenance fees (alimony) leaving the person who the claims were filed against fighting false accusations and going bankrupt with their own attorney fees as some jobs terminate the accused as soon as the person makes the false claim. What would keep them from adding wanting to move to the false allegations. I am sure they would find some way to place that bill onto the falsely accused as well!
