  1. Ford will have employees that will be scarred for the rest of their lives. Ford will have to have emotional support robots placed at strategic intervals on the assembly line. Hopefully quality will not suffer because of this traumatic experience.

  3. The Union did not demand "safe spaces" for all employees.
    See what happens?
Vote NO on "Right to Work".

  8. 12:21 pm hit the nail on the head. Drug use is rampant at Ford, as with all assembly plants throughout the country. We knew some employees who bragged about being high throughout their shift. Send an undercover reporter to ask about the drugs available. No surprise that this poor guy is dead. RIP

Oh, like the shift spvr that was drunk driving when he wrecked and killed the young co-worker he was dating? No manslaughter charge, just DWI with classes and community service. GM put him on a different shift. Then, a year after she was buried, he got another promotion and soon after that, another DWI.

  11. Average Is Sixty to Seventy Thousand A Year, BEFORE Overtime Pay!!!7/29/18, 5:29 PM

See the union logos on many nice trucks, new cars, Harleys and some beaters at the RedX when autoworkers are getting the smokes and sips, steaks and cakes, on their paydays! It's cool to have fun and help the local economy, but stupid risks to lives and high paid positions is BAD. BEHAVE!

  12. Auto workers are so overpaid. They have no skills and most are the trailer park dwellers. No wonder a robot can replace them. They are mindless idiots.

  13. A couple decades ago an in-law started working at Claycomo. All lunch coolers were checked at security going in and coming out. No dark glass bottles of Root Beer were allowed in, unless the cap was opened by security. Unopened cans of non alky drinks were allowed. Thermos type jugs and coffee mugs with drinks weren't allowed, unless they held soup or stew! Ford knew there's need to curb temptations of drunks and thieves.

  15. Well yes in all the world only auto workers drink and do drugs at workplace
Please it's no more there than in any office I guarantee
If you think auto workers are over paid then you come assemble a car for 15 bucks an hour it takes 8 years to get to full pay
