MO Rage Against Prez Trump

Our favorite local blogging leftist offers his take on recent turmoil confronted by the Prez. Here's a call to protest an upcoming fundraising visit . . . You decide:

Treasonous Trump Coming to Town

So President Trump is reportedly coming to Kansas City on July 24 to host a luncheon for Republican Senate candidate Josh Hawley. Hawley is running against Senator Claire McCaskill for her seat in Congress. The luncheon reception costs $1,000 per person, $2,000 per couple.

  1. Claire doesn’t represent the views of Missourians, she’s way out left.

She voted against the tax cuts and Gorsuch.

She poses as a school marm but she’s part of the lefty club in DC.

  4. The one thing I do NOT want is Trump's Impeachment!

    I want full disclosure of...
    1) the extent of the Russian financial backing that has provided the Trump Organization with its only real source of capital for the last twenty years,
    2) full disclosure of Melania's links to the KGB when Putin was her manager,
    3) full disclosure of Donald's shenanigan's with Call Girls during his several visits to Moscow, including the videos taken by the KGB,
    4) exposure of the undeniable proof of Russian interference in the 2016 and 2018 elections,
    5) disclosure of the collusion by Donald Jr., Eric, Priebus and Bannon with the Russians during the 2015 campaign,
    6) full disclosure of the Russian funding of the NRA, followed by the forced resignations of North and Lapierre.

In other words. I want Trump to tuck his humiliated tail between his legs and resign, creeping away in disgrace the way he has had to do so many (6) times before when his overhyped businesses collapsed! Only this time, instead of leaving behind a trail of unpaid employees and destroyed small businesses, I want all the lying alt-right Russian agents discredited, their decades long campaign to weaken this Country exposed, and all the rabid unthinking acolytes of "The Cult Of The Donald" left sobbing in the wilderness.

This triumph of Real American Patriotism should bring about either the wresting o power from the hands of the extremists who now control both the Republican and Democratic Parties, and a restoration of moderation and compromise in open political discourse.

As so many Republics have done, we now have seen our "American Alcibiades" in action, and hopefully will now return to the Virtues upon which we have always stood.

    1. Trump was duly elected because of the failure of progressivism, the inevitable swing rightward after the profoundly leftist Obama years, and the focus of Dems on identity politics issues rather than what mattered to middle America. Not to mention the incompetence and arrogance of the Clinton machine.

In other words, you don't defeat Trumpism by ejecting Trump. The neverending froth of hate directed at him is pointless. It might be good therapy for the safe-space set, but to those outside the hate cult it looks silly and unhinged.

You will get numbers one though six on your little agenda on the first day of never. Most of the items are completely irrelevant. Each one has a much more valuable counterpoint from the right, such as:

      1. Under what fraudulent pretenses was the FISA warrant gained for Mueller?

      2. Why is it acceptable that monstrous bias on the part of Mueller's sexting, adulterous investigators exists?

      3. Why the total silence from the left about the rigging of their own primary?

      4. Why the acceptance and encouragement by the left of violent and confrontational politics?

      5. Why is it acceptable that a massive full court press to oust Trump exists on the part of media? (A bias of 90%+ negative, as verified by Harvard among others)

      And so on.

Sobbing in the wilderness adequately describes the Democratic party right now, if you add a big spoonful of meltddown crazy. Torn between paleolibs like Pelosi and the junior progressives, with zero credible leaders and no issues to take to the people, instead of sniffing Trump's sheets you might think of an actual electoral strategy. Just a thought.

We will return to moderation and compromise when the left decides to admit their electoral defeat.

      Any day now, right?

  6. I'm surprised that none of the Cultists jumped on my typo - of course it wasn't the 2015 election, it was in 2016!
2015 was the year Uncle Vlad first started pimping his puppet!

    Oh, and I'm not a Democrat, I'm an "anti-Republican"!
I have no arguments against most of what the GOP says, it's what they DO that I oppose.

I've read about, researched and seen the economic chaos and damage they've caused over the years, repeated under Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush One and Two, and now happening all over again!

First shift more of the economic burden from the Wealthy onto the productive Class, then run up the deficit and inflation to prop up and hide the weakening of the Economy, then walk away and let the disruption fall on the "lesser 99 percent"!

I agree that the left has much to answer for, the Democrats badly need to wrest control out of the hands of the extremists. but the same can be said about the Republicans.

But the "Attack Mutt" tactics that the GOP adopted during the Obama administration have carried forward and are now being re-directed to disguise their lack of accomplishments. The GOP has now had complete control of all three branches of the Federal Government for a year and a half, and what have they accomplished? Yet another tax cut the Country cannot afford! Their constant blaming of the previous administration and the Democrats now in office for their inability to get anything done is laughable!

They've bitched for years, now DELIVER! Of course, since the hare-brained "Voodoo Economics" G. H. W. Bush scorned have been so disastrous for the Country every time they've been tried, perhaps the GOP's inability to do anything this time is a blessing!

I do have hope that the moderates in both Parties will come together, probably after the impending Recession, to form some sort of consensus, probably dooming both the Republican and Democratic Parties to the fate of the Whigs that they've both worked so hard to achieve. Personally, I'd like to see a spectrum of about five or six Political Parties, so everything would require discourse and compromise.

But our immediate problem is facing the damage being done to this Country by the present Administration. The GOP has all the power, but right now they are afraid of "HIM", and have made themselves impotent.

I know this sorry state will pass, I simply regret the damage we will incur before it does.
Oh, and is anyone making book yet on what War will be started to disguise this Administration's failures?

Tick tock, tick tock. patience folks. Mueller's doing exactly what he should be doing and that's just following the money. The major money laundering indictments haven't even started yet. Manafort's gonna' look like a warm up excersise. Watch what happens when a grand jury files a subpoena request in Federal Court for the Trump family corporate and individual tax returns. Trump will try to redo Nixon's "Saturdy Night Massacre" and he'll lose even with a packed SCOTUS and his lawyers better brush up on United States vs. Nixon. Bless you Judge Sirica

    1. False. The investigation has been demonstrated to be corrupt to its core and was established by Nixonian behavior on the part of the Obama administration. Mueller and Rosenstein have already told us that there was no collusion, and no Americans involved. It's peteting out, not accelerating, because there was no crime on the part of Trump.

      You lost. Get over it.

What was funny was when some Russians actually showed up and wanted to see the evidence Mueller had against them. So embarrassing when he had nothing.

  11. ^^You are absolutely correct. Trump could say tomorrow that America is a shit country and has always been shit, and we should do away with elections and the free press and his people would spout "I always hated America." Pathetic.

LOL, I see the losers are out in great force today. And as is typical with them all spouting crap that has been fed into their tiny pea brains by the likes of MoRage and other liars in Mass Media.

Grow up losers, Hillary and Bernie lost, they ain't coming back no matter how much you piss and moan. Take to the streets in protest get thrown in jail for doing so and if you really paid any attention all you're doing is making more people start supporting Trump and paying more and more less attention to what you're saying.

  15. What a DBag blogger.

He doesn't allow negative or challenging comments to be posted...which is a clear sign this snowflake is wrong and cannot handle criticism. My comment challenged him to look up the definition of treason...The US is not at war so its not treason. Russia is not an enemy of the US (only to the Democrats and that about face from hero to villain has only been since Nov 2016). Read the definition and put it in context of Iran and Obama's secret $400M cash payment and you will see which one fits the definition of treason.
