Kansas Hip-Hop: Milkdrop Talks Gentrification

The plight of urban America extends far beyond demographic political niches that only offer a convenient way for MSM to sell their audiences . . . In fact, may of the inner-city hardships endured in KCMO are also taking root across the Heartland and deep into Kansas.

Accordingly, here's a worthwhile musical interlude worth sharing . . .

Narrative:

"This year, I released my 29th solo album, accompanied by a 30 page visual collection (photography book). The Leavenworth Story, is a narrative, that speaks of The the soul of a small Midwestern City. The album, speaks of the collective human experience. Not just of being native to these narrow streets, but also of the similarities it carries to many communities across the United States. These towns, like Leavenworth, make up the very fiber of America. With those roots; the good, bad, and indifference of societal issues are engrained in the fabric of our lives. Generational economic disparity, the effects of institutionalization, racism, and the topic underwritten in this first Visual; gentrification."

  1. Jesus.

Dude, you have more technology in your cell phone, than it took to put a man on the moon. You look well fed and you find time, in spite of every employee in America that wants a job having one, to record a pseudo rap song.

Shut the fuck up, quit bitching like it is "Grapes Of Wrath" outside your window and work for a fuckin livin.

If you are living in your own, private, 1933 bread line, it is because you refuse to acquire a trade, or, go to school and graduate with a degree that does not place a pink pussy hat on your empty noggin.

  2. What's up with Milkdud's lack of proper speech?

    1) exaggerated cadence and poor enunciation to imitate stereotypical black rap style

    2) face, head, and hand gestures which are distracting

    3) 9 out of 10 listeners would be unable to tell you what this rap was about after listening to it

The first rule about Rap Club is to be original and not imitate other rappers that came before you.
