A local urban planning nightmare continues on one of the ugliest streets in KC proper. Here's just a bit more documentation and resident/biz ccomplaints:
Wornall construction continues as frustration mounts
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the first time in months, business owners in Waldo along Wornall Road on Friday did not have construction workers in front of their businesses. Crews repairing sewer, water and gas lines under the street moved south to continue repairs on a residential area near 85th and Wornall.
Who cares, the millinials cant handle construction, too effing bad
ReplyDeleteHere's the question:
ReplyDeleteIs it Wornel, Wor-Nall, Wornelle, or what....?
Since Berliner Bear is gone, our interest in Wornall has been cut in half. Now there's only Tasso's.
ReplyDeleteWell, one thing I notice, they are working most days. I am by there 10 times a day and it is good to see city employees earning their cash. They are working hard and it is hot as hell out there.
ReplyDeleteIt is probably poorly planned and fubared as hell, but the guys - literally in the trenches are working.
Those construction crews speed up the progress if they'd install the fake train tracks that will eventually be there, anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe minions of city hall will not allow stopping progress of KCMO. Next week people will have to find something else to complain about.
ReplyDeleteWornall road has been in a state of continuous construction since the 1960s.
