Kander, who spent a whopping 2-4 months in Afghanistan years ago, chasing paper trail corruption cases, and admitted he was never in any firefights, continues to milk every last drop of possible political goodwill from his service. And Kander only went to Afghanistan years after the 9/11 attacks because he had to go to law school (3 years) first and then have surgery to acquire some balls.
Kander talking about his service in Afghanistan is analogous to a middle-aged guy still bragging every weekend about his high school athletic prowess.
