Diana Kander has served as Jason's "beard" since their school days.
ReplyDeleteShe's in it for money and power, he's in it for ego and narcissism.
If you don't understand the dynamic, the Kanders are patterning themselves after the Obamas. He's a closeted gay, she's obsessive for wealth and status. Jason has even sought to duplicate Obama's speech patterns and intonations (listen closely). He's admitted that he began thinking about running for office before his mid-20's. His military service was only done as a political resume builder.
Kander, full time platitude purveyor, no substance, all about the ego of holding elected office...any office. Will be terrible for the City after the shit hits the fan when Sly is gone and the taxpayers have to pony up!!!!

There's nothing else there.
And the notion that all the mayor's job is is to "sell" KC to the rest of the country/world completely ignores any of the actual services and responsibilities of municipal government.
The most important of which is public safety.
KCMO doesn't need more self-absorbed narcissistic flash.
It needs someone who will roll up their sleeves and do the basic work of representing and providing decent services and financial responsibility for the people who live here.
Get your entertainment from television, online, at the movies, or wherever.
If Kander is elected he will rescue himself form any decision making and all decisions will be made by his had puppet Troy.
